I miss Nagaoka, Kimura, Sakoda, Arisa Sato, Yamaguchi, Shimamura, Ebata, Araki, Ohtake, Miyashita, Tashiro, Sano, Ishii, Zayasu, Maruyama, Koga, Shinnabe & Kotoh. I miss the 2014-2016 Manabe's squad.

I seen Nagaoka matches in 2016 against korea. Principally she is an offensive OPP hitter lefty. Her strength - high vertical jump (she has to becos she is only 1.78 m) and very hard spiking. The only left hand OPP hitter in the team. If Nagaoka could improve in service, digging, saving hard ball then she could be the next KyK match from Japan less the height. But too bad she got ACL injury twice and rule her out of international competition

Соня, у Гончаровой слабый прыжок и она чересчур флегматична для волейбола. При таком росте иметь в атаке КПД не выше 0.4 недопустимо для игрока сборной, которого держат в стартовом составе только для атаки. И она часто "выключена" из игры . Но не все потеряно для нее, если поработает плотно над прыгучестью и станет более азартно относиться к игре.

Pankova was great during 2013 to 2015..she set Russia to podium finishes in European and grand prix tournaments.. But then in 2016 after failing to get medals in grand prix and Olympics, she was sacked for the team.. I feel sad for her.. But she holds the record for the most aces in a single Olympic match, 8, in their match against Cameroon..

Russia needs a better coach.they need to try new players. Voronkova and parubets are good but need to raise their game. Without kosheleva ,goncharova and malova Russia is a third class team.

So close game,really enjoyed. No 15 from Russia 🇷🇺 is a star ⭐️ player here she spike like men , Russia Hardly use quick attacker but 2 main striker were so much better. Japanese defence were worth to watch specially 4 set.

4th set saori fired up and that was 🔥 I think Nagaoka must be in the 5th set to not just rely to the outside hitter players. But Russia’s team definitely are the prepared one and they knew their thing, and overall it is a really great match!!

Кошелева нужно было сразу в состав включать, не было бы такого провального первого сета, они бы с Обмочаевой дали жару соперницам, да и настроения добавили!
