Go to the fifa world cup federation and submit an inquiry for the last goal in Spain vs. Japan. The last goal was clearly out of the touch line and shouldn't count.
Japan arguably had one of the toughest groups of the tournament, and came out on top. No matter what happens after this, this is an incredible achievement. Congrats!
I'm happy the country that brought and is still bringing the world the best anime, is moving on. South Korea and Japan are the two Asian teams I wanted to move on.
For the most part, our defense was solid but that one-two between Ferran and Olmo…so lucky that Olmo lost his balance a bit when setting up for the shot
Japan deserve to go all the way. Not only have they built their soccer organization on blood sweat and tears they have shown the love and passion that the beautiful game is all about.
It really is crazy when you look back on where their program was just 10 years ago. They were nobodies in international football. To think that they would not only advance but all-out *win* their group with Spain and Germany in it is mind-blowing. I really hope they can build on this
It’s crazy how Japan wasn’t able to score for almost 50 minutes then all of a sudden they got 2 back to back goals and had crazy unrelenting defense until the end of the game. Truly an incredible team.
This world cup is so unbelievably good and Japan made history for winning against German and Spain and took the number one spot in that group, very impressive.
But they lost against Costa Rica who was defeated by Spain and Germany. I think they were benefited with the second goal. Not fair. If this would be a tie, three teams would have 4 points, Spain more goal difference and a tie between Germany and Japan
I’m from Brazil here and I want to congratulate the blue samurai’s for this beautiful comeback. Well done boys. It’s a step by step process. This is what happens when you play the game with passion. Congrats
I was sad that Germany was eliminated but this Japan team totally deserves the spot. They chased the ball relentlessly at every turn and never let up. Japan played with such heart that it was impossible not to root for them.
@@SadArtemis It's simple facts. The world cup is a 7 game tournament with just 3 group stage games. Any team can score a goal out of nowhere and that goal can go on to decide the fate of the group. Put Japan in a league with Germany over 6 to 10 games and see what happens.
Congrats to Japan. You deserve to go far, especially with how awesome your fans have been. Other than my own team, I’m rooting for Japan. Love and respect from the USA.
@@chinavirus841 I couldn't care less, I haven't seen a single game of the World Cup so far. I'm just here out of boredom and RU-vid's recommendation algorithm💀
As a Japanese, I’m very proud of Japanese players n this team!! Group E literally went down to the wire. Intensity was real. All team could have the ticket for the final at the very last moment. Japan just did well and they deserved it. Congratulations 🎉
This Japan team is absolutely insane. If you watch the last 15 minutes of the match you can see the Japanese players move almost in unison and identical like a machine to counter every attack. Truly remarkable I find myself hoping they make it all the way!
Some people are saying Japan is an easier game for Croatia than Spain. I'm not so sure. Japan maybe won't beat you 7-0, but from these first 3 games, they'll beat you none-the-less. Had they not rested their best players vs Costa Rica they could've finished the group 9 points!
Happy to see Asian and African teams do so well against the usual power teams, special kudos to Japan known for their disciplined play and their focus on honor, hope they go all the way.
Maybe the same pep talk Saudi Arabia had at halftime.. something like, If Saudi Arabia can come back and stun Argentina, then we can stun Spain and the whole world, said the Japanese coach in the locker room.
Spain plays with brain not brawn. Give up to the game to Japan to avoid Brazil. It's easier to play against Morocco and Portugal than to play against Brazil. ((Look up the bracket))
@@iforgotmyscreenname1 lmao. yeah pretty sure they got major panic for 5min there, where Germany lost to Costa Rica 2-1 and Spain for a moment dropped to 3rd place for knock out.
@@yaskkabob3591 yes it was bro but either ways we move on. As a Spanish I have to give all credits to Japan they never gave up. Good luck against croatia
@@TaykoGhoul the funny thing is Japan is one of the least welcoming nations on earth.Getting refugee status or citizenship for foreign born is almost impossible.
Spain was 1-0 up HT, they knew that Germany would win so they purposely lost the game so Japan would get 1st & not them (harder opponent in Croatia), it gives them Morocco & it also knocks Germany out & they stay in & get a better 1st round match up. You can see it in the goals, the Spain players aren’t trying at all 2nd half lol. Spain played the smart game long term by losing this, knocking out a potential finalist & getting an easier round of 16 matchup if they lost, & im not hating btw I thought Japan were superb, but that’s literally what happened & no one can’t tell me otherwise.
@@MissJaimieWinstonMukbangJrIIIE so your telling me that Spain risked getting eliminated from wc just because they're scared of Germany?? delusional lmao
Almost shed a tear with the Japanese fan, happy Japan completed their breakthrough. They wanted to make it to 16, you could tell. Who knows what the future holds but in 2022, its their time!
Wow.... Japan top of their group that has both Germany and Spain. What an amazing run by Japan, congrats and wish them all the luck in the knockout stages! Such a solid team, feel like they are a real threat with how great they have been on both sides of the pitch.
Hats offf to Japan for beating Spain and Germany. Spain had 83% of possession and still lost the game. What do you think Spain's big problem? Offense or defense?
Japan and South Korea were my favorite teams to watch just because of how tough the groups were. They seriously made the world cup exciting to watch. As a guy who's family is Mexican of course I liked watching mexico too but I knew from the start none of the three were making it out of the groups. But watching them was so great the matches were awesome!!!
Congrats from Korea 🇰🇷 You guys have a fantastic team this world cup, and I hope you guys go far. We’ll try too, but we are now up against Brazil 😬 In any case, I hope we’ll have at least one asian team to cheer for still!
The beauty of soccer is that while we all have our favorites, we admire quality and tenacity, and are mostly able to agree when our own side sucked or got lucky.
Congrats to you guys from over here in the States! I know this feeling is completely surreal, I was experiencing the same thing with team usa just two days ago. Hope to see you guys down the road!
@@st.stryder As a moroccan from the US, 2 of my teams advanced to the round of 16 :) a very good feeling and im proud of the US for showing that they are not to be taken lightly
I've said this before and i'll say it again, Team Japan plays like a team. Last half was crazy considering what was happening in other group match at the same time. Japans defense was extraordinary! Congrats for the win and best of luck for the rest of the matches!
No matter what you do there is always an Asian that does it better. Their discipline is inspiring. Only time before they're recognized as a world class team imo.
@@jonathannelson19412:54 😂. Dude the ball is out ! If it were the other way around y’all would be complaining. No matter what team you go for. That ball was out.
Gotta love this Japan team. They play with so much patience and high pressing. With this win, I would NOT be surprised if Japan makes it all the way to the finals. I believe they can be every opponent that is in their bracket. A final against Brazil would be *very* tough though (I feel like they can beat France).
I have chills, this is playing with heart ❤ out of the huddle, all of them sprinting to pressure, keeping the ball in play, and score 2 goals to win. Congrats Japan! 🇯🇵
Japan has an incredible speed. You can’t get too confident playing against them. They don’t play to just make a beautiful performance, they play fearlessly to win no matter who the opponent might be. It’s like they would rather run out of breath than slow down… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Brazilian dude in here. If Brazil doesn’t make it, I’m for Japan!
i agree they deserved to win and did a great job in the group but spain wasnt really trying to win this one, it was in our best interest to lose and let germany get eliminated so we could go on to play morocco
@@rollingrizzo1291 from the top down view it was stated 1 millimeter of the ball was within the white line so it was not out. Ik it’s crazy but the ball wasn’t out
Japan has always had an incredible work rate and great discipline, now they have some quality finishers. I love watching this team. Beating two traditional world cup powers and winning their group is a well deserved reward.
Crying, laughing, and sometimes screaming like crazy while enjoying soccer proves that we are one family. I am happy to see an adult in the company crying like a child today. I remember the Japanese tears shed over Doha in October 1993. I sincerely congratulate Japan for turning those tears of despair into tears of joy.
@@DirtyGreens I was thinking this too, but unlike basketball for example, with soccer (football), the ENTIRE ball must be fully past the line horizontally, and I guess it was so close that the referees called it still in. My best guess anyway...
Completely unpredictable, it has given new life to the sport. Even the previously weak teams are not get destroyed like they were in the past. Makes the whole thing much more fun
This is why they should stay at 32 teams. We already have the perfect balance of action and exciting upsets with 32 and 4 teams per group. When they go to 48, they’re going to switch to 3 teams per group, which means we won’t get these exciting final games anymore, since most of the time, the outcome will already be decided. Why change something that’s working perfectly?
Congrats Japan from a Mexican fan. Happy that they made it through. Such talented and hard working players. I'll be rooting for them in the round of 16.
Man, I wish my team had this insane determination and heart. I am brazilian and I have been cheering for you, Japan, since the last world cup. Be proud of your team, Japan! =)
Congrats to Japan. This World Cup has not stopped with the surprises. I said it a few matches ago that this was the most competitive World Cup ever and the results continue to prove it. Look at the results. Look at the sides making it through. This cannot be denied now.
Bro I think I read your comment on a few videos ago where you said that. Or someone else you couldn’t be more right every match has been an absolute blast to watch.
This has to be the most resilient team in the tournament. To come back and win from being down to both Germany and Spain is an incredible feat! サムライブルー!
