My initial question is how to know based on your own body shape and size how to figure out the structure plan? In other words…how many total chains are needed in total for the piece and where to stop and start new ring colors, sizes. Do u use muslin? Have a mannequin, but think it is basically decretive and is teeny tiny compared to my curves. Likely no help @ all. I’ve never draped and barely sew. Do u use muslin to size? I’m sorry to ask so many questions. Maybe your subs can answer some of these in comments. Would very much appreciate. One last question, I am not a wealthy person. Is this a reasonably affordable hobby?

Are there no closed rings you could buy to save ypurself the trouble? Because if you use two different typs of rings anyways maybe there are closed rings being sold for the smaller typ
