Hi Zubaida, Thanks for reaching out. Actually while applying for MEXT university track. Most universities require you to attach a consent from a professor of that university. If the university you are planning to apply for, asks you to attach consent letter, then show it to professor. If it doesn't require a consent letter for admission application, then you should just go ahead with the application.
