To me, it is amazing how these two people from different parts of the world came together and immediately play beautiful music together. It was wonderful to see and hear.
Mai now has hundreds of more fans. It is so unbelievably special to share ones art with a random stranger in a random place. I experienced it once with my simple pencil and paper on the Steps of Rome. Something these two will remember forever.
Áno, na také chvíle a zážitky sa nezabúda. Nemožno na ne zabudnúť! Skromná a veľmi sympatická Mai raz bude klaviristkou veľkého mena. 👍🍀Pozdravujem zo Slovenska (Slovakia). 🇸🇰❤️

Dr. K, I love how you interact with this young lady. Music is the world's one language. I can't play a note, but love your music. Thank you Sir. Bob, Nevada, USA
Dr K, that you & Mai were at the station at the same time was meant to be, and our delight! Thank-you for the beautiful music! Much love to you! ❤️❤️🇨🇦
When I was a kid, many talented musicians like this were beggars, castaways, drunks, playing their songs for spare change. Now they are international U tube stars, known throughout the world. Thank goodness for U tube. And Bless Musicians, the World over.
Great talant shown by the young Japanese lady. As always you highlight skills of new artists - your ability to do this is a gift and introduces them to a public audience. Again Brendan (Dr. K.) thankyou.
@@mainakase you are welcome :) Do you ever come play in the united states? i am from Southeast Michigan near Detroit. first of all you are most welcome :). I never played piano, but grew up playing the violin and being inthe orechestra , even attended a summer camp called Interlochen a few times. but it gave me such a love and appreciation of this great music. You and Dr. K looked like you both had fun.
元気をくれる動画です! ありがとうございます!! 色々大変な世の中で気分が落ちることが多かったですが、この動画で凄く元気が出ました! These are videos to cheer you up! Thank you!!! I've been feeling down a lot in this difficult world, but this video has cheered me up tremendously!
The ministry of funny walks has now been upgraded to the "Ministry of Boogie Woogie & Funny Dances " Fantastic music as always from Dr.K Well done Pianist Mai Nakase , fantastic playing. 👏 👏👏. You made me giggle , that look of recognition " I know you 👈" and now Mai , we know you 🙂🙂
Dr. K could easily work as a classical concert pianist, but i have a feeling he would eventually give into his boredom and get fired to a standing ovation for "going rogue" during a performance with a sweet, sweet boogie woogie solo.
So many ways to play Canon ....love it all ways you play Dr. K .....young lady looked quite surprised while playing with you 🎼🎶🎹😎❤🇨🇦🙏....Mai seems a dear sweet girl ...very impressed with you in the end of this duet ❤🤗
Thank you both very much. Beautiful music. ... That Guy that was dancing/bouncing/irritatingly dressed in Red, called 'Flagman' was Really F...ing Bothersome. Cheers!
Extraordinario y muy talentoso músico es el DR. K. y gracias por existir, igualmente le doy gracias a la pianista del Japón que le acompaña en el teclado por deleitarme hoy.
The Emirates dancer is known as Flagman. He is one of many of Dr. K’s featured guests. I don’t think that he was purposely being rude. Boogie On, you faithful boogie aficionados. 👻Greetings from Southern Oregon
@@TheBobbymcd Mr. Flagman carried red flags as I recall & danced while Dr.K played Boogie Woogie at the train station piano in previous videos. There’s a video where Dr. K interviews him. If you look at this current video you will see the word FLAGMAN on the back of his sweat shirt. All the Boogie best to you. 👻
Hi Brendan, what did you do today for special? I enjoyed a lot of people with my skills. And the person who makes the advertisement for Emirates, what did you do today for special? Ehhh...
There is so much more to Dr. K's talent than "just" Boogie Woogie". I kept expecting to have him break somehow into a B-W version of the Canon while Mai was playing the classical version. Nice playing, both of you. Hell of a duet!
I would have enjoyed the video, if the dancing advertisement was not photo-bombing. Just move the camera to the other side and exclude it from the recording.
Listening to Dr K makes me look up the philosophy of music. There's got to be something deeper than psychology of music that brings people together regardless of culture or political affiliation
