Every time I listen to a native Japanese convo, I'm reminded of just how much I still don’t know. Thank you for humbling me Mika Sensei.

Absolutely agree! Two people can laugh at the same thing. It is the magic of complicity in a couple. Who can't laugh at himself, can't make anyone laugh. Yes, for all ills, laughter is the forever infallible remedy. 🤪

Your videos are so useful for people learning Japanese in an intermediate / advanced level! Almost all content I find is N5 or N4 and it's a bit frustrating. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, it's so so helpful!!! Natural conversations aren't taught with textbooks so this is a great practice for me! ありがとうございます!

This is a very interesting fun but practical way to learn japanese. Please do more of this, I'm already in awe of how far I am to native level even though I passed the N3 test. This aroused my curiosity to keep learning more. I'll definitely subscribe to your podcast and shadowing course. I know it must be hard work on your part, but very well done.

This was a great conversation, it was much more natural than the first girl's talk. You should also include a man in the conversation to make things interesting!

I got like 90% of it, I did better on part one. It proves that this convo was more serious. Also, I wonder how Miku sensei knows what words to put on the screen? Most of the words I didnt get were translated on the Screen. Thanks Miku Sensei!

I was so excited to find a video with Japanese and English soft subtitles, but then was disappointed to find there were no soft subtitles for the actual conversion. This makes it so that I can't study the conversation using the Language Reactor plug in. So many RU-vidrs go to the effort of creating fancy hard subs, which you can't turn off when you want to really practice listening. You could just provide soft subs and let people turn them on or off, or tell people to use Language Reactor or one of the reader helper plugins. These tools have revolutionized language study, but I find that so many RU-vidrs and iTalki teachers don't even know about them.

I hope I find an Japanese wife in the future and to learn how to speak Japanese.
@thoughtful-woman
@thoughtful-woman Год назад
Having a Japanese wife is NO GUARANTEE of learning how to speak Japanese. There are some who do not want their partner to be fluent in Japanese, which is kind of sad in a way. Others may just want to learn their husband's native language, thus preventing you from becoming fluent in Japanese.
