Indian wedding take almost a week... Very long time.. but having lot of fun, dancing , singing, and so on.. U know Indian wedding is like a gathering party for a week with having different rituals every single day...🥳🥳
if you dont understand why bride is throwing rice behind, then let me tell you it's because she leaving behind blessings for her family and her home. Rice is holy in hinduism.
Actually it's not a tattoo , it's called Mehendi (heena) , it has a great significance in our religion , women put mehendi on their hands on many traditional occasions . A men put Mehendi on his hands just once his life , on his wedding day . But off course not that whole design . Just the simple round circle would be made (on the center of his hands) and then dot dot dot , surrounding it . Traditionally it was ame for women but from last century we have started putting many designs .
@@maharaja-otaku-tokyo It's not always that grand .... based on family income and their saving usually Could go from 50000 RS to 10s of millionRs.,.....(don't know in yen) The only thing that would be same in almost all wedding in India... would be long preparation and ceremony time...it could go from 7-15 days easily.......as for invitation... people usually invite... friends , direct family,then comes a longass list of relatives that could go up to like 3 generation old for ex... you would invite someone who is related to you in this way- your mom's dad's -dad's brother's son's wife's family will definitely get invitation...also... your general day to day aquantents .....as for food...it usually an open buffet with 20-40 different dishes and side dishes.....

Yeah..Indians wedding can last for a week...those are traditional things which everybody does...this traditions changes by religions....we invite our friends family and neighbours.. everyone in contact lol...so it certainly Cost a lot..but it's the marriage which you have once in your life then why not celebrate it fullest?
South India wedding is totally different from North India bro..even the wedding in states of India differ. In tamilnadu we have a separate day for wearing rings called nichayathartham. After one or two months we get married.that too includes reception one day and marriage a separate day. Whereas north indian conduct wedding for atleast one weak. Both rich and poor people follow the same steps but it may not done in too big area for poor people that's it Government never pay for weddings, parents and those going to marry pay and if the fund is not enough relatives may help..
4:00 please be respectful , they are not making groom dirty . That's a paste made up of turmeric and oil and it's really good for your skin . So before wedding it is applied on both groom and bride so that their skin can become free of pollutants and they can have a glowing skin . And it became green due to the grass they are using to put it on his body . That's a special type of grass used of wedding ceremony . It's a part of our Haryanvi weddings .
In India weddings are just on a whole different level..My older brother got married in 2019..and it lasted for 12 days..There was a lot of stuff to do..He had engagement ceremony , Mehendi ceremony [ Mehendi Ceremony is about applying Henna to the bride's hand and feet (in some states it is applied to the groom as well). This beautiful event takes place usually in the evening amidst a lot of dancing and music by the family members and friends. While the bride has to sit for hours to get the Mehendi art done. ] , Sangeet ceremony [ Sangeet is probably the most fun Hindu pre wedding ceremony , Traditionally, the Sangeet Ceremonies should be a part of the formal engagement event, however in recent times, it is conducted individually. Thus the fun of wedding extends one more day with this celebration . so special themes are chosen for this occasion and dance performances are prepared by family and relatives ] , Tilak ceremony [ Tilak Ceremony is reckoned as the first step to the bond between the two families. This auspicious event takes place mostly in the groom's residence, where the male members of the bride's family visit to put Kumkum or vermilion on his forehead. ] , Haldi ceremony [ Amongst the most fun events during an Indian wedding is the Haldi Ceremony. In this ceremony a paste of haldi is applied on the bride and the groom's body before or in the morning of their wedding day ] , these were just some of the pre-wedding rituals , there are few past wedding rituals too..

I feel like indians just spend all their savings on just weddings because in india wedding is like big ceremony. My sister wedding lasts for 10days. And indian weddings are so much fun with dancing palying. Indian wedding is a whole another level
Every indian wedding is large grand on big scale, wether its in north,south, east or west etc, wedding should be grand, it happens once in life, so we indians celebrate it to the fullest, the ceremony lasts for more than 2 weeks, n even after marriage there r some rituals which takes place, people in india do savings , for their childeren , whn child is small only for this wedding day, n those who cannot afford they apply for loans frm banks , to celebrate it , n govt don't do funds, its their wedding why would govt give them?no relative also give funds, only brides family has to do all preparation, if groom wishes to do something he can do, otherwise nobody will help them, ya u have to spend lots of money, but in india things r cheaper as compared to other foreign countries.🙏

Actualy only basic necessities are cheap in india. Things which are considered a luxury are very expensive as much as of 100-200% more than any things in any of the country. Be it cars, electronics, branded clothes etc but yeah india has a variety of prices for any of the things as there are every kind of income disparity india.
Its not soil. It is turmeric paste which is applied on both bride and groom's body as a tradition, which is good for skin that's why. It's their wedding why government will fund it. 😂😅😂 They do it with their own money.
Middle class families have this type of marriage that is shown in the video but the rich indian People's marriage is very very costly and 100 times more maharaja and luxurious wedding than this.... Me as middle class boy have never attended that marriage but have seen so many videos...
in india you don't need to invite people for wedding. when passing by people see the wedding house, they automatically come in. 😂 so, don't worry, you can have a large wedding even if you dont have many friends. 😂
Indian marriage are going with.... Engagement.. ring ceremony... Tilak where bride family exchange gift with groom family... And big ceremony held... Then haldi ceremony is their for cleaning and fresh look of bride &groom body (haldi-turmeric)... Then marriage day...on which marriage is held in traditional way with full of dance music everything... After that next day it's called vidai ceremony where now groom family takes bride to his own home...that called bride sasural(husband home) now and her(groom) house now for her it's called Babul ka ghar or you can say that mayka..... ..and it's fully traditional way...fully enjoyable end in 1 weeks....
The wedding ceremonies are different for different families. In reference to this video,I think: Day 1: Engagement ceremony, where bride and groom exchanged rings. Day 2: Haldi ceremony, where groom was applied yellow turmeric powder on his face. Day 3: Actual wedding, where bride and groom exchange garlands and are officially, married as per their family customs. In many Indian families, they invite their friends, their relatives, some extended relatives and sometimes whole village. Wedding is seen as a medium to make connection with different families who attend the wedding. If the invitation is sent to your family, it is kind of obligatory to atleast send one member of the family for the wedding.
greetings from kolkata.... this video looked like a standard wedding and not royal .... usually weddings need a fortnight of celebration... in haldi or turmeric ceremony before marriage both bride and groom in respective houses are showered with antiseptic turmeric paste, rose water, sandalwood paste and milk...... please review 'a royal indian wedding at rambagh palace by chase for adventure' with english narration... best wishes...

I'n forehead natural tumeric when India bride groom married senior citizens give their blessing and put turmeric on their head for blessings that's why they put on turmeric on their head 😄 its not rocket science behind 😄turmeric bath and no one pays Indian do weedings wit their own money 😅no relatives will pay
The guy reacting to the video is very nice but the girl is so pessimistic! She has to understand that it is different in every culture. Japanese people are usually very polite but this was strange to watch someone complain so much. Well, at least she was being honest about how she felt.
The words simple, minimalistic, small, etc, don't exist AT ALL in the Indian dictionary, well atleast when it comes to weddings. If anyone even utters those words in a Indian wedding chances are really high you'll get kicked out from the door. Don't ever utter those words to your bride otherwise,... Well, good luck
