A lot of Dutch people stopped buying as much beef as they used to, after it was discovered that a lot of beef appeared to be horsemeat a couple years back. So in a way, Natsuki's strategy to pretend to be a horse isn't as weird as you might think.

Vin Crafter I think people just like to know what they’re eating. “I asked for beef, but I got served a horse?” if that makes sense. It’s also taboo for a lot of people to eat horse. So it’s a mix between not wanting to eat it and being pissed they’re not being served what they asked for.
@TomorrowWeLive
@TomorrowWeLive 4 года назад
@@Vinni-2K we definitely don't eat horse meat in Anglosphere countries. I don't know if there's anything objectively wrong with it, but it's seen as way worse. It would be like eating cat or dog.

This is officially my favourite video of 2017 so far; if not for the confession of "BUT....I'M HORSES", then certainly for the discovery that Zebra's have "many poison". HUGE thanks to Charlie for tutoring Natsuki in the run up to filming in Europe - I'd like to point out for the sake of keeping the video a reasonable length (and entertaining), I cut out most of Charlie actually correcting/teaching Natsuki! Charlie has a free ebook on language acquisition which you can find here (bit.ly/2iTGfvI) - it's a really interesting read. For those of you learning English, he's also got his own channel called "Real English with Real Teachers", which you can check out here (goo.gl/XkbUFL)!

You taught the man how to say "The dogs bollocks?" Do you not realize how addicting that phrase is? You've doomed us ALL! Also that guy teaching Natsuki seemed like a really nice teacher.

I'm glad to see Natsuki had so much fun with the lessons :) . Always makes learning a new language easier when it doesn't feel like a chore.
