Another jam with the Roland SP404 mk2 and JU-06A, this time with a MIDI connection between the two.
Another set of splice samples from a really cool Japanese pack.
Really enjoying how easy it is to load up patterns on the SP404, it's definitely not as intuitive as the Digitakt sequencer but for some reason I'm finding it way funner to cycle through them. Could honestly just be because the buttons don't make such annoying clicking noises as the digitakt lol

Really cool! Is this completely done in the sp? I've been thinking about getting it to pair with my Minilogue XD but I'm not sure if it would just end up being an expensive FX box for me. Could you give insight on your workflow?

Thanks for the kind words! I recorded a few synth lines into pads (that are triggered by the pattern sequencer) along with the sp404 triggering the ju-06a’s sequencer, which basically runs the whole way through.
