I like it that they are so, so polite to each other, as are most Japanese nationals that I know. But I do know of Japanese who are cynical & rude too, but I feel that there's a lot to learn from Japanese.

yes , exactly .not every japanese is rude in nature . infact our culture abides us to be polite even with our friends ! you can guess te intensity of politeness here! by d way i also teach japanese at my channel .. i'm a starter though . i hope my lessons help u learn basics in a better way . i am really not comparing myself with her , i respect her a lot ! as we've been working for the same cause! i hope , it will help u . anyway , ganbatte kudasai

Spanish: "Yo como/comí/comere, el come/comió/comera, ellos comen/comieron/comeran" Japanese: "食べる IS 食べる!” Learning Spanish conjugation must've been hell 先生, Japanese conjugation is pretty simple and straightforward. The real challenge with Japanese is to study the meaning and onyomi/kunyomi of thousand upon thousand of kanji, but with practice and perseverance you eventually get there. Thanks for the interview, it was very helpful!
@LaGiniComenta
@LaGiniComenta 3 года назад
Japanese conjugation is pretty simple until you learn that there's no only present and past tense, but it's desire, potential form, pasive, T-form, volitional, progressive, cusative... and all that in formal and informal x'D Japanese looks simple, but it's very complex too (not as complex as spanish verbs, that's true, but it's not as simple as english, for example). As you say, tho, with practice and perseverance you can do it, but it's not an easy path... :_D

@lekjov6170

@@sesehoho8954 I get the sarcasm, but you are missing the point. Japanese verbs are specially easy because japanese verbs don't conjugate(the only thing we could grammatically call a 'conjugation' is the 'て形'), what you do is attach helper verbs(in a consistent and predictable manner that never changes with the exception of する and くる)that add certain nuances to the verbs. In the vast majority of the examples you listed there's not ONE verb, but TWO involved. Not only that, once again, once you understand how the linking works there's no difficulty to extrapolate that logic to other verbs and get the right answer. English/Spanish for example is different, verbs DO conjugate and there's not consistent patterns that will help you determine with a 100% certainty how to conjugate a verb you've never seen before. In conclusion, Japanese verbs are vastly easier to handle than verbs in languages like Spanish or English because they DO NOT conjugate.

@@lekjov6170 I’m very new to Japanese but after watching Cure Dolly videos on Particles and Verb Stems and helper verbs aka “conjugation”, it’s seems very logical and easy to understand/use. I think teachers and books make it way harder than it needs to be. Possibly because they don’t understand what’s happening on an elemental level.

Thank you 🙏🏻 for this conversation Akane san and Miku san. It taught me that a lot of grammar in Japanese can be learned by heart. Even whole sentences that we may use on a daily basis. Learning doesn’t know “short cuts” I think. We have to put time in to practice. With repetition it will stick and for some people that will be easier than for others... Study every day, even when it’s just 15 min. After a while when you look back, you’ll see how far you’ve come! Good luck every one! 🍀✨

European languages ( my own experience.....French, German, English, Croatian for example and ..... Spanish) conjugate similarly depending on “pronoun”. Asian languages verbs don’t usually change depending on the pronoun. This makes it easier somewhat, when grammar is concerned, in learning Asian languages :)

It doesn’t happen overnight!! I used to struggle reading books in English. Because I didn’t have enough vocabulary, enough knowledge about grammar. You improve little by little. My recommendation is to expose yourself to something you are interested in. If you don’t understand and if it’s not interesting, you would quit. But if it’s something you are interested in, you will be more curious what the sentence mean, you want to know what they mean. So pick something you love. And write down everything you learn for the first time. Literally everything you think it will be useful for expressing yourself. Keep doing it for 5 years. I promise you will be able to read books in Japanese. It just takes time. And I recommend not to choose too difficult levels. You might lose motivation. Pick books for children first. If you love reading novel, there are novels for kids on the internet!!

ドイツ語の勉強って大変みたいですよ。嬉しいことに私はドイツ人ですから勉強しなくていいです。😅 Mark Twain を引用したいって思います。 「My philological studies have satisfied me that a gifted person ought to learn English (barring spelling and pronouncing) in thirty hours, French in thirty days, and German in thirty years. It seems manifest, then, that the latter tongue ought to be trimmed down and repaired. If it is to remain as it is, it ought to be gently and reverently set aside among the dead languages, for only the dead have time to learn it. - "That Awful German Language,"」
