Your garden looks amazing! Thanks gor posting more updates on your maples. I’m hoping to upload growth updates of mine as well. Please keep posting more!
Gumballs, or as a buddy calls 'em Porcupine Eggs, are the bane of my existence. Several 4' diameter, 100 foot tall sweet gums in my yard, ohhh, the junk they drop. Impressed, your ratio of Japonicums to junk is getting much better!!!! 🤣 I must say my Giant Moon looks almost the same. I was worried about it, but every one I've seen in a video looks just as small and slow. Wondering if it's a weaker variety or the place we got them from just has weak stock for that cultivar?
No they all can probably stay in the pots for about 3 years I would say. The moonrise may have to come out earlier than that as it’s been in that container for about 2 years now I believe. The others are all newly potted this spring. My other containers I have I will have to maybe do something with a few of them next year. Thanks for commenting.
Beautiful maples as always. How is your fountain of youth in a hanging basket doing? My Dragon Master should be here soon and I'm going to put it in a hanging basket also. Is there a certain size basket that you recommend? What width and depth do you recommend? Again beautiful trees.

Fountain of youth baskets are looking great!! I’ll post an update on my baskets soon. Thanks for watching!!!
Hey brotha I just picked up the basket but I have a question for you. I currently use kellog patio plus organic plus soil and I want to start using pine bark in the mix. I couldn't seem to find it at my local lowes. Can I use regular mulched mixed in to the soil or do I need a certain type of pine bark? Any recommendations would be helpful. Again beautiful trees brotha
