【Things I have】
Many people have been asking me about the things I use,
I tried to find products that is the same or similar to my items
on amazon in the USA and JPNAN.
Honestly, as a minimalist, I don't want you buy many things.
However, If you really want to buy them, please ask yourself,
“Does this spark joy?“ before buy it:)

Awesome. Watching this channel a bunch really motivated me. It was like emotional support, especiallg when i became depressed again recently. I finally felt driven enough to get rid of a bunch of things and I've been establishing a routine thanks to finding this channel. I got matcha and matcha making set heheh too. :D Now that's I've gotten rid of those things, I feel like I can breathe better. There is a burden lifted from the back of my mind.

It’s hard for me to imagine preparing and eating fish first thing in the morning but I can’t decide if I like the nabe (unsure of spelling) and also the yakiimo better. It’s raining pretty much every day here where I live so I’ll have to try the yakiimo later. Going on a guided mushroom hunt sounds and looks like a LOT of fun! You do some very interesting things. I also love the snack box. I think maybe I’ll get that. Would love to get the one year subscription. Thank you for again being a source of inspiration for me.

It’s interesting to me how similar things I grew up with and do are so similar to Japan, like snacks with tea. I started doing that with my grandmother when I was 4, I’m 28 now, and snacks need tea. Then with how seasonally I eat, I never realized it was a bit unusual for my area because while we have access to everything these days, I was raised eating very seasonally so definitely an increase in potatoes and cabbage because that’s what feels right this time of year.

I'll have to try sweet potatoes like that some time soon. We normally just bake them here in the oven. That are best with a butter. Here in Indiana, USA we eat a lot of soups as it gets colder. But in fall it self pumpkin is a big thing made into pies and all kinds of stuff. My husband would eat pumpkin every day of the year though. Like Japan our area has all kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables harvest in the fall.

Thank you, Akisan, for another enjoyable video! Your videos always feel like being there with you in Japan with the best guide! I'm so glad you featured Sakuraco because I was just about to subscribe to them today anyway to try out! Now I know that they are preferred by local Japanese, how to say "sakuraco" as well as some other words, and also have a code to give just in time to place my order! I'm also hoping I can find saury, a clay rice pot, and all the ingredients you used because I want to make all those dishes! In the US, our sweet potatoes are more orange, but I enjoy eating them for breakfast with eggs and hot peppers (not typical for here though. ;) ) Because they take so long to bake, I'll put them in a crock pot overnight and then cook some peppers and poached eggs in the morning to put on top. It's delicious!

I am happy you mentioned nabe. I haven't made it in a long time, or at least not a deliberate nabe. The one I've always gone with is a chanko nabe, which I understand has associations with the sumo community. But from a recipe perspective it just seems like a stew with everything in it. Sort of like what I've heard in the US appetizingly referred to as "garbage stew." I don't think the idea is putting garbage in the stew, but it's meant to be adapted to use up food that you're worried will spoil. :) I have everything at home to make a proper chanko nabe, based on recipes I've seen.
