Interesting to learn the friendship has spanned the many years that Dan and now 18 year-old son Lincoln have together shared reveals on their "What's Inside" RU-vid channel. Maybe we will eventually get to see the emergence of another father-son duo as Leo joins in with John on his Japan adventures? The father-son(s) formula seems to be working well for my friend Luke Nichols here in Alaska with his successful "Outdoor Boys" RU-vid channel.

John even though that fish market is probably average by Japanese standards, I think I would be hard pressed to find anything like it the US. I finishing this one in measured doses, but I know I’ll really enjoy it. Thank you!

I am allergic to shellfish, so aside from the fish, I cannot eat any of the spread. 😭 I used to be able to eat all the seafood, but somewhere along the way, I became allergic. 😢

No, Japanese dinner is not more like dinner. That's the kind of food Asians eat for breakfast - savory food. The practice of eating sugary food for breakfast is a western thing, especially in the US, which is usually very unhealthy.
