Very good video on a place I recently traveled too. War is horrendous. We should never forget that and monuments like this remind us of the futility of it all. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! We got to the island last month and there's so much history here its amazing. We toured around The Peace Memorial Park last week and got to see Sad Cave as well. Very sobering experiences. Like you said, very surreal.

Great video, guys! That was one place I wished I'd visited when I was stationed there for 3 1/2 years. But you know how you are when you are young...that stuff doesn't interest you. Now that I'm older, it does! Thanks for sharing this! BTW, I thought I'd read somewhere that some caves were discovered in the mountains west of Nago that contained old Japanese artillery pieces. I'm not sure if they are able to be visited or not, you'd have to research that. Again, great video...always looking forward to them!
