I would definitely appreciate it. By forgetting to change the leads, is how all my first meters died, and how I almost killed and have blown the fuses of my current ones. I have the good practice to always reset the leads to voltage reading after using the meter, but accidents still happen.
Mr. Denki, please be noted that remaining three testing modes are for ampere for which you need to remove only red probe and insert in ampere test socket. Black probe is common.
Of course you could connect it to whatever your heart desires..! The feature showed here definitely does help the user become more aware of how they’re using the tool. To prevent misuse, always think about what you’re trying to measure and why, then set up the probes and meter accordingly. Never had any accidents with this methodology
