they do that in usa too, watch most street food vids there ... most countries do the same even in euro like germany etc ... seems like a comment to just disrespect a country or make a point but in reality you failed to research it and looked dumb as fuck
These street food places could let the customer pay and make their own change as long as someone's watching them. Just keep a small amount of money in the bowl if you're really worried about theft, but how much of an issue would it really be? If someone wants to steal the cash, it's easy for the taking either way.
