Today I made a rare cheesecake using a nostalgic recipe. ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ Rare cheesecake ☆ Material (15cm round mold or bottom removal type) Cream cheese 200g Granulated sugar 60g Lemon juice 15g Plain yogurt 150g Fresh cream/heavy cream 150g ○ Gelatin powder 5g ○ Water 25g (Cracker Bottom) Graham cracker 60g Unsalted butter (dissolve) 30 g ☆ Preparation -Combine water and gelatin and put in a container. ☆ How to make ①Put the graham cracker in a thick bag and crush it finely with a rolling pin. Add melted butter and mix well. ② Put the crackers in the mold and spread them on the bottom. After laying, rest in the refrigerator. ③Put cream cheese in a heat-resistant bowl and heat it for about 20 seconds in a microwave oven. ④Mix the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, lemon juice and yogurt in this order and mix well each time. ⑤Pour the whipped cream in a new bowl and whisk loosely with a hand mixer. ⑥Add the whipped cream to the cheese dough and mix well. ⑦Dissolve the soft gelatin by heating in a microwave for 20 seconds, add to the cheese dough in ⑥ and mix well. ⑧Pour the dough into a mold and cool in a refrigerator to harden. ⑨ (Remove mold) Heat the wet cloth in a microwave for about 1 minute. Watch out for burns as they are hot. ⑩Melt the cake surface by applying a hot cloth to the side of the mold. ⑪Complete by removing the cake from the mold!
60g of graham crackers 30g of melted butter 25g of water 5g of Gelatine 200g of cream cheese 60g of sugar 15g of lemon juice 150g of plain Jogurt 150g of heavy cream
Made the cheesecake it is amazing , for those who don’t life in japan, try to use a mild and firm yogurt(or adjust your gelatin Bc i used a runny & sour yogurt it got a bit runny & sour the first time) as well as a mild cream cheese (I was able to find kiri cheese in a tub, that was the best choice I think)
@@Elle-po4iq not yet, I'm waiting for my next supermarket run when I can get the ingredients. I plan to eat the entire cake once I make it and die happy.
Your videos are soothing to watch. No opinions offered. No life story for 15 mins to get to a 5 minute recipe. I’m hooked and subscribed after watching this video. Keep doing you.
I bought one slice of this caker here in Philippines 🇵🇭 i was shookt! It really the best creamy tasty cheesecake I've ever taste. Better than classic cheesecake
A few hours ago in the comments section teddy wrote an English recipe. Please look there. I'm not good at English, sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for watching my videos.
Thank you for a brilliant recipe! I have deep and abiding respect for the Japanese culture and the elegance of every action. Enjoyed those side comments that were made keeping the minutest of deviations from “perfection” in mind. 🤗. This recipe promises to be a great treat for repeated use. Thank you.
The same reason why we don’t call a steak dinner ice cream. Why would we? It has nothing to do with ice cream, same as this no bake cheesecake. It’s not even close to ice cream.
What about a chocolate crust on the top? And I hope this does not contain to much calories. I have seen so many videos of this lately. So many temptations.
Gelatine isn’t vegetarian by most definitions, though. It’s made from animal bones, hides, and hooves. However, it is possible to buy gelatine made from only fish bones. I wonder if anyone had good luck making this with agar instead of gelatine.
SOO, i forgot to heat the gelatine and added it to the mix, i figured there was no way for it to gain consistency like that so i put it in the oven for an hour, took it out and to the freezer, hope it turns out ok lol
Always cut cheese cake with a hot knife, just boil some water and poor into a tall glass or jug. Leave it for 30 seconds, pull out and wipe blade and then cut. Rinse and repeat. The same applies when smoothing out the top of your cheese cakes with a pallet knife.
This recipe is so good! I used 170g cream, 170g Greek yogurt (Chobani), and 8g gelatin (used more than 25g water but didn’t measure it-maybe 1-2 tsp more) and it worked out fine. Also added in a splash of vanilla. The cheesecake is very rich and creamy but doesn’t have a strong sour, cream cheese flavor. It was a quick recipe to put together as well which I appreciated
Looks very tasty. Definitely going to try it. Could you share what the orange syrup/jam you put on it before eating it was, please? I might try putting some homemade strawberry jam if I decide I want a sweeter piece. Thank you for sharing 😊
