Japan and Manipur have a good relationship.One story I heard from my grandparents is that during world war (battle of imphal) a Japanese soldier was saved by a guy from my town by hiding him inside the lainingthou Sanamahi ka(manipuri god's place inside home).After war was over the Japanese soldier visited manipur again and came to meet his savior and as soon as he saw him he hug him instantly calling his name and cried.I have always believe manipur and japan have a botherhood bond and heard many war stories and its fascinating.

Main reason for me to learn Japanese is because to watch Anime without subtitles and ordering foods like a local at restaurants hahaha.
