I doubt it, he's undersized and slow heavy footed. If Obi is back, idk that he can play well enough at SF defensively. Especially on switches to guards. He just doesn't have the foot speed. Guy's will drive right past him all the way to the rim. Leaves him constantly trying to block them from behind unsuccessfully. He's probably best suited as a legit PF, who isn't going to get caught up in switches a lot.. then there's the problem that if he does and it's a bigger player.. Will he be able to stop them enough defensively and keep other bigger players off the glass.. idk.
I really hope Jarace can defend well at the SF. I'm counting on us resigning Obi. We better lol, if not I'll be pissed. Walker has such a nice ability to create for other's and himself. He can be a little flat footed and heavy on D tho. Allowing for blow by's. He will have to get better at not allowing that and staying on his toes. If he can, he could become a valuable asset. That said, I don't think he's very switchable onto guards.. So could become a problem if team's switch. Kinda need to be able to switch to multiple positions being a SF.
