Couldn't have said it better! 👌🏼 Jared Leto is so humble despite his worldwide fame as 30 Second to Mar's frontman and Hollywood actor. Their mother raised her two sons to grow up into respectable men.

He never sold his soul to Hollywood that’s why he goes and gets out quick and find solace and reward in music

I always laugh when I see him say that, because I've seen live shows where people are screaming requests and he says, "It's our show, we'll play what we want." LOL!!! Gotta love him. Trying to balance graciousness and reality. Love him.

I don't mind the slightly scruffy look but the full beard definitely ages him. I miss the black hair with red highlights cuz that's was the time I got officially introduced to 30STM's music. Although, I've come to love his longer hairstyles. The awkward moment any man has way better hair than you. 😂

I think I disagree with all of this. The only hairstyle I don't like is the short, dyed hair and the blonde mohawk. It makes him look like a gutter punk, and makes his face look so harsh. I think his best looks are clean-shaven, scruff, or the very GQ, trimmed beard, all with long hair (between ear-length and mid-back, I'm in.)

Graham Hettinger as far as im aware you are totally right, that's why there was a massive disagreement with bands and their labels in the 90's because the labels were making more money than the bands were! - on account of them owning the songs etc. but thats why "indi" was created, it started out bands creating music separate (independent from t)he labels, but now thats become a genre too obviously:)

You are correct that you would not own the chair but you would be paid for the time you spent working on the chair. This band never saw a dime of anything they earned, in fact they wound up owning the label money. I remember something from back in the 80's that John Mellencamp said about how that when you are a young band, you don't know any better and you would sign the bottom of a shoe. He had a horrible time with his first label as well. I may be wrong, as I don't know much about either Jared or his band but I think he came to CA when he was in his early 20's. They most likely had a bad attorney and manager and didn't know what they were signing. You can fault them on that but when they found out, they did something about it. EMI had the chance to make things right and choose to not do so. Greed got the better of the label and the in the end they lost most of their artists. I worked for Sony Records in the 80's and saw first hand the way artists were treated. If they want to retain their acts and have them continue to make money for them, they have to respect them and to this day, most major Record Companies don't. The band has since signed with Interscope and have a new CD coming out this year. Interscope has always been considered to be an artists label as it was started by artists, so they are more willing to see a bands' point of view. I work on tours now, so I see both sides of the business. I hope that new up and coming artists get a chance to see Artifact, not because Jared Leto created it but because it is filled with other artists and Music Industry professionals who share their experiences and views. I think it serves as a great educational tool so others don't make the same mistakes that 30 Seconds to Mars did.

Yes. He added muscle in the time he had before playing the Joker. That part was first offered to at least one other actor before Jared. Fortunately, he didn't have more time to bulk up. I love that slender body. :)
