Wemby was supposed to play in the real Euro league that Luka played in but his “team” opted for lower quality competition and one game a week. Also only playing French teams so no crazy travel. Plus that guarantees his numbers stay high. Luka would have averaged 50/15/15 in a French league.

Unlike wembanyama, luka proved to be a star in the highest level of European basketball. Wembanyama was a role player in the Euroleague two years and then last year he played in a different team that didn’t play European competition. He played great and has shown potential but he hasn’t proved as many things as luka did before going to the states

I’m an Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas mavericks die hard. I was so upset when we traded Trae for Luka because Trae went to OU & I love all OU guys. Now looking back I’m so thrilled we made that move lmao. Love Luka, Mavs were trash for years until he showed up. My family is generational OU fans going back to my grandparents then before I was born my parents moved to Dallas so I grew up there with my brother & sister going to Mavs games. Unfortunately that also means I’m a cowboys fan but it is what it is. Love my Sooners & my Mavs/Cowboys! Luka & CeeDee my favorites. Luka had been playing with and against ex NBA talent since he was 16 so he arguably had the best development compared to most of the guys in his draft class you can’t really undervalue how much he would have learnt playing professionally for all that time before eventually going into the NBA

Youth basket ball is defo connected to injuries. JJJ just said he been knowing them dudes since he was 6. AAU teams getting these kids to work their bodies so hard at young ages that I really believe it takes a toll on ligaments. The stress you apply when you do all these dribble moves isn’t good.
