We're really lucky that Jarne pulled himself out of the darkness. We've lost too many great people in skateboarding the past few years. Jarne is one of my favorites.
The message is amazing. Glad you're still here. That skating!!!! Whoo. Killer brother. Keep it up. We all got your back, anywhere in world you'll find a skater
The first time I met Jarne was maybe like 5 or 6 years ago in Sants, it was like 10 or 11 in the morning and he was drunk skating, I didn't even know who was that guy. He said to me that if I did a switch firecracker on the small stairs he would give me a board, and so he did. What is curious about this is that I never thought this would go so far, neither did he, but I'm glad he had the courage and such amazing friends to get out of this darkness. The hardest part is accepting it and receiving help from others. Keep shreding Jarne, we all love to watch you skate
After Ben Raemers' death it's amazing to see this, skaters promoting openness and bringing our deep struggles to the open to discuss. Hopefully others seeing the outpouring of love and openness will reach out also and get help from their families and friends.
If Jarne were gone, skateboarding would have lost a lot of meaning to me. Love everything you do, the energy you always bring to skating, the constant smile. Proud of you for pulling yourself out, man. Had me in tears at the beginning. Never skatebored.
This dude became one of my favourite skaters instantly, around 2 years ago... Glad to see he worked that around, and incredible to think all the shit he has still done even when being affected by alcohol. Keep shredding, dude, you're already a legend!
Hitting up teenage girls is predatory and gross. I got a lot of inspiration from this video as someone struggling with alcoholism and finding out he was responsible for that sort of behaviour is a real gut punch. I hope he gets help and fixes his behaviour, at least for the sake of future women he comes into contact with. Fucking bummed to learn another person I thought of as an example is a creep.
@@Hoodinator17 He posted the screenshots of him hitting on an underage girl on his own instagram and then said "my career is over" and deleted his account... dont know how much more proof you need
I returned to this video shortly after Daniel Johnston passed away, and it seems so appropriate with the message behind his songs. Rest in Peace Daniel Johnston and Long Live Jarne.
i watch this almost everyday and seem to fall more and more in love with the shot @ 5:11 so happy to see jarne is doing better now, we're all very lucky to have you here with us
Thank you, Jarne. What you're doing is extremely brave and, speaking from experience, one of the most difficult but also most rewarding challenges you could undertake. Congratulations on 6 months dude.
Jarne when you reverse came into the 16mm perfectly graded colourful footage from the water and were smiling: I felt like a child. I felt love energy inside my dna, and I wanted to hug you and smile like my family. You are very good, thanks for taking that pot to the head.
Been searching your name every now and then ever since never skate bored, looking out for new footage of your skating, never skate bored was the best skate part I've seen in a long time, felt so much like true skateboarding, you're one of the best man, gonna buy your pro board whenever mine breaks
A truly piece of art, this skatepart and story. Incredibly glad he got out of that hole, a true example for me as a (Belgian) skater on many aspects of life! ❤️
Wow I was always super impressed with him when he came up a few years ago, I know his buddy Phil has had some stuff coming out but I was wondering where he's been at. Really glad he's doing okay, and it's cool of him to talk about this stuff so other people don't feel so isolated
Best video ive seen in a while, the complexity of the tricks and the effort you put in it, amazing, props to filmers and who put it all together... Wow
Skateboarding give us real happiness, we have to appreciate that and never stop, friends as a family that we created skating, true love will find you to the end...
so glad to see jarne back, always one of my favorite skaters. the way he skates is so powerful, you can just see it in each of his parts. i got goosebumps after every time he landed a trick or slammed and turned to the camera and smiled, such an amazing man. thanks jarne :)

Love the edit, skating, and the song. I'm a big fan of Daniel Johnston, and paired with excellent style and a human narrative , Im now a big Jarne fan. I'll be looking for more Guillaume Perimony edits too.
