its literally the first game to have anything like this and with the f1 games being more of a sim game and not a proper sim we'll most likely never see something like this
@@ERT_TimoACC technically has a wet line mechanic but it's always faster to just drive the dry line in the wet. Hopefully AC2 will incorporate proper wet weather driving but I doubt it will happen
It's honestly pretty simple to see who is going to go off most of the time. Those who don't understand the difference between the dry and wet line are very obvious immediately. I can't tell you how many times I saw someone try to take the dry line because they are used to other games/sims that don't simulate rain properly.
@@gdoumit So simple in fact outta the 4 races i watched, with the lowest before 4.8k sof, barely anyone actually could see what you said so easy. You should become a coach, evidently you're leagues ahead of the competition
That’s why F1 24 will be more of a sim than a simcade, bcs people are more and more interested in other sims (iRacing, ACC for consoles has a big success too…). F1 23 has a 40% less active community than F1 22.
Makes you realise how brave (or insane) race drivers are when it's heavy rain. I assume IRL that you can sense the car front from the sounds - this part is hard to replicate in a sim?
Very interesting video. It's cool to see how instinctively Jarno adapts to a different line. I've seen so so many people struggle, or revert back to dry lines in moments of slipping focus. Meanwhile Jarno is just casually adapting to where the grip is. That must mean something good about the actual model.
Hey Jarno, great video! I noticed your camera lens is a bit dirty mate, there are some blurry black spots around the center that you can see overlaying on you face.
@@akil.2839 the "wet lines" on GT are the same as the dry lines except you cant touch the kerbs. but in real life and on iracing, the wet lines are completely different from the dry.
Depends what you want from a game. If you like a game/sim more yourself then it's a better game for you, but that doesn't mean that game is better for someone else. I have played both and I still do. But if I want to play against other people then I always play iRacing, even if the FFB is not always as good in iRacing comparing to AC.
