I've always thought, since I first heard him sing years ago the leading role in Landi's Il Sant'Alessio, that Phillipe has an outstanding, unforgettable, voice; even compared to other prominent countertenors. Wonderful to see that the movement to "unforget" Telemann continues to gain momentum. This composer is, in my opinion, the most underestimated in musical history. Viva Jaroussky for supporting this revival of interest in a baroque genius, and doing such justice to the music!

Vous vous interrogez sur la réception de l'auditeur, mais vous savez bien que souvent les commentaires se réfèrent au divin quand ils vous apprécient...cette musique (baroque) est réellement envoûtante et nous amène à des sommets de contemplation et de réflexion. Objectivement je n'ai pas la Foi, je ne la cherche pas, mais en vous écoutant et à travers vous, ces magnifiques compositeurs, je ne peux que m'interroger sur le sens de ce monde. Merci et bravo.
Приятно слышать музыку известных церковных композиторов, как Г. Телеманна и И. Баха в исполнении Ф.Жарусски, это всегда - молитва ко Господу Иисусу Христу, а значит сама музыка освященна, так как И.С.Бах всегда перед написанием той или иной кантаты брал благословение у Бога, музыка исполнялась в церкви, жаль, что это концертный зал, Филипп, исполняя на немецком языке, словно перенес нас в другую эпоху, когда для людей Церковь и Вера были главным оплотом Жизни, как и подобает ей быть, дабы люди понимали Высшее и Духовное, хорошо бы было если бы этот контратенор почаще обращался к Великому Баху и одухотворял своим голосом ныне почти неверующую Европу! Браво, Филипп, пусть Господь тебя укрепляет и помогает в прославлении нашего Господа!!!! 🎶👏👏👏🔝🌌
