Jarren and Elz going in AGAIN... what a duo. Great use of Grime sound patterns in the beat. Definitely gives it a unique sound with the wobbles. If you put this on a pair of good subwoofers with clean highs and mids it is definitely a triple A banger.
i wouldn't say funk volume was holding benton down but they were definitely trying to get him to chill on murder rap. you can tell cause this shit is gruesome
He brought a good dynamic to funk volume too... Not wanting them all to be on that crazy shit but Benton getting mink coat Killa on yo ass sometimes gives it a feel that's hard to get anywhere else.

Tech made a video explaining why he didn't wanna sign em, because he didn't wanna get the "why'd you sign Jarren" or "why'd you sign Hop" he didn't wanna put any pressure on the situation they were going through probobly because things could still work out even though it's unlikely

i know what would BLOW jarren up a billion. keep his flow and song styles BUT make all the hooks/choruss sound mainstream'ish or catchy af. that would make him untouchable
This is an album to appreciate onlu because he did it how he wanted, alot of people dont realize his influence is outkast and shit like that, their albums are similar go check out southerplayalistikcadillacmusic that album is fire and def a big influence you can hear it
THRASHKLAN Records dont know what. Ive be listening to jarren for years, however this is not his best album. Half or less of the songs are good... the others arent up to standards. Jarren should of just did him. Kato and jarren with no trap beats are what hiphop is all about. This aspect of his talents are missing tho and the entire album is a flop. Not what I was expecting. Mr. Benton will still be making new music and more songs so i am glad to see that his legacy wont end of this dissapointment
