On some real life. Though i didn't realize it back then. There was some legit bad blood in this rivalry. Much like the Matt Hardy and Edge rivalry 6 years prior at that time.
This was worse than edge and Matt because lita and Matt wasn't married and didn't have kids together. And your wife didn't have an affair with your boss
To answer Karen's question at the beginning, no. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever watched in wrestling history since Sid breaking his leg. It would have been one thing if it was just Kurt, Karen, and Jeff, but they brought the kids into it. They basically asked the kids to go on camera and make a joke out of what may have been the most traumatizing experience of their lives. This messes kids up. When they grow up, they're going to see this and think 'What did they do to us?
Ok, next time Jarrett, leave the kids out of this. Storyline or not, kayfabe or not, there's a fine line that separates entertainment from reality. Not that this isn't good, but the kids don't need this.
I have to admit, i am disgusted with this storyline. To put Kurt's divorce and putting the children into it is sickening. Personally, I can't stand Jarrett cause is pathetic. His wife (jill) hasn't been dead for less than 3 years and now he steal another man's wife, destroy their family, and now flaunt it in a storyline. I have lost respect for TNA cause of this and i thought the Edge/Matt Hardy/Lita thing that WWE did was sad, this is far worse.
WCW stole Nash and Hall among others. Its the nature of the business. No need to get butthurt over big companies trying to get new talent. WWE is the New York Yankees of the wrestling world.
LOL at Rob Terry and Jesse Neal being great. TNA shits on guys too. Jay Lethal could have been a huge star. Black Macho Man and him imitating Flair were awesome stuff. I was at a shitty promotion called PWS last year and I saw Amazing Red there so TNA must have dumped his Amazing ass also.
No... No no no... Not this kind of thing anymore... It was enough when Rey and Eddie fought for Dominic... Why kids have to throw to feuds, Im not interested about those kind of things at all...
@TakerRules95 WWE Stole: Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Rob Van Dam, Mick Foley, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu, Dudley Boyz, Scott Steiner, Sean Waltman, Tazz, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Mickie James, Vance Archer, Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Goldberg, Jeff Jarrett, and this list can go on and on AND on buddy. WWE's stole wrestlers from ECW, WCW, AND TNA and fanboys like you don't even know about it.
LOL you think 1 person can take down a whole company? TNA won't die, they still have really great wrestlers. Infact without Sting, Booker, and Nash is better because now the younger wrestlers have a chance to shine.
You are such an obsessed fan. After 30 years most matches bore me to tears. I get a kick out of the promos and backstage going ons more than the matches especially filler matches and matches that are so obvious who is gonna win. No thanks.
Im not at all a fan of how TNA has presented this storyline. While it is getting the Jarretts plenty of heat, it's also making most of the viewers uncomfotable due to the worked shoots on the real life situation, as well as involving the children. I know that Angle and Jarrett have pulled great matches out of each other in the past,, but I hope that after sunday they can lay this storyline to rest.
If you actually read the debate you would see that I was using the guy's logic against him by saying TNA "steals" their wrestlers. Instead of trying to criticize me about an argument that I had 2 YEARS AGO why don't you at least try to get an understanding on what I was arguing about before trying to make yourself look like a smartass?
As much as I hope this isn't the case, i don't think that this storyline is going to end in the foreseeable future. It is gaining alot of attention, negative or otherwise, and even if Kurt were to win, Karen more than likely won't give the kids up without a fight( in storyline of course). As uncomfortable is it is, this angle is gonna be on television for a while.
Yeah he's in ROH right now tearing up the ring. I wasn't saying TNA was perfect but was pretty much using the guy I was arguing's logic to counter every response that he had on me. I'm not a TNA mark but I do like the business as well as WWE. Sometimes you have to show some irony to get people to come to reason.
Who did WWE steal Kurt Angle from? Please don't say original ECW. He saw the crucifixion stuff I believe with Raven/Sandman and was disgusted and quit. Of course he had no problem with it in WWE when Austin/Taker did it but he was making a ton of money then so cast a blind eye to it. Did they really steal Hogan? He was doing AWA Japan even WWF before his big title run in 84. No idea who Vance Archer is. Money talks. Its good business and I watch both promotions so not antiTNA or WWE
And if the promotions don't want their wrestlers stole match the money that WWE offers. Most of these guys want to be paid well and featured more prominently on TV. TNA rating are always what 1.2 ? I am 2 years behind catching up on TNA but I doubt the ratings are much stronger now.
Nah man their was way too many comments to read from 2 years.ago. Relax. I wonder why comment replies never come to my email anymore. I had to look in my YT inbox.
TNA fans still enjoy Sting because the guy can still move for somebody his age, I mean he's 51 and can still do a superplex no matter how much of a butthurt mark you are you have to at least respect that
@TakerRules95 Yeah I seen the 3rd promo and it was the miz dressed up as Sting, so it most likely will be Sting, but it won't be the same Sting as back in WCW considering that he's 51 now....
@Christian28Star Its not really any different than the matt hardy lita and edge storyline wwe had. the only difference is the kids but they have grown up with there parents having certain storylines
I made it to 1:18 and even that was stretching it. Yeah, Karen's hot, but this storyline... and the actual s*** that happened... just makes me uncomfortable. TNA, don't ever bring Karen back or bring up this painfully awkward real-life situation again. If that means Jeff & Kurt never fight again, that's fine. Thumbs down this video if you dislike this storyline.
