Need more individuals like R.A who promotes relatively unknown and actually talented emcees to the game, this new wave of "mumble rap" (yes, which unfortunately has become a subgenre of Hip-Hop) can not represent the music/culture in which we all love and live by, surely one could argue that Hip-Hop is constantly evolving and we need to respect that but when it gets to a point when lyrics don't even make sense and even so far that the artist can not be understood, then it is harmful.

So many people hating on fast rhymes, wanting "substance". Umm...just because someone is fast, doesn't mean they don't bring real content to the table. If that were the case, R.A., Tech N9ne, Rittz, Chip-Fu, Twista and so many others would have simply walked away from the business. I understand that maybe because you can't quite understand on the first playing that you are skeptical. But try playing a song several times, you'll catch on. But I'd much rather have ANY OF THESE over the mainstream "Crap-Rap" (mumble-mouf creatures) that the industry is forcing down our throats. What's sad is that it almost seems like someone is trying to SABOTAGE Hip Hop...or society as a whole. Stop DUMBING DOWN everything for ignorant people and raise the bar again (like the golden age of Hip Hop: 1980-1997-ish) and promote INTELLIGENCE and encourage rappers to do and be something "different". There was so much variety back in the day, now everyone sounds the same and that's not good, because it's all CRAP. Except for cats like R.A. and others who believe in the "SOUL" and CULTURE of Hip Hop, and respect its history/roots.
