Been following Jay since the beginning. So exciting to see him finally playing College ball. He looks great out there. Please post more game highlight videos. I agree with the comments about going to a smaller program being good for development. Turned out well for Steph Curry. Keep grinding!
Never understood how Jashaun start going so low under the radar. I'm pretty sure there's tons of people he should/could have beat out on the ESPN 100 for his recruiting class. Maybe it had something to do with states, teams, divisons etc. But this might be a blessing in disguise. Going to a lower ranked D1 College means he get more playing time, he starts as a Freshman. Which mean he's getting more development at the College level instead of fighting for first spot at a top 10 ranked College. Even in video his speed looks unreal he look like a Olympic track star on the court. I'm praying he gets a few more inches on him. So he can grow to be like 6'2 6'3 or something. But regardless this kid is a star point blank period!
That post is motivating, insightful, and inspiring! It's just a little annoying and frustrating when you see someone who actually lived up to the internet fame and hype be down played for no reason. There's so many internet sensations who get gassed up to be the greatest thing seen sliced bread! Jerron Love, Jaylin Fleming, Damon Harge, Julian Newman, etc. I hate to name name, but it's true! Then you see someone like Jashaun who's athleticism and Basketball IQ has been far advanced past his years. Seem to be shunned or boycotted for no apparent reason. He should've had way better College offers. UConn, Penn State, Syracuse, shit even Washington should have tried to scout the 2x Highschool Basketball State Champion. But redgardless like I said Jashaun's a star either way, I feel like he's going to be like a Isaiah Thomas where he gets drafted really low or picked up undrafted, but once he showcases his talent he'll be a NBA Superstar!
