Unpopular opinion: Sonu Nigam is 1000 times better than Arijit Singh. Because Sonu sir's classical base of singing is beyond level... where Arijit Singh can't challange him no matter how much popular is Arijit Singh today!

It's not an unpopular opinion. It is a fact. When Arijit Singh can have a 40 year career like Sonu Nigam which includes film songs, multiple hit albums, multiple independent songs on streaming platforms, dance videos, hosting a musical TV show at age 21 that changed the definition of classical music in India in the 90s, judging multiple talent shows, sold out concerts for 3 decades and millions of fans from 3 generations, then we can start the comparisons. Until then everyone can sit down.
This song had me in tears.... Sonu's voice is so intoxicating! Best singer in India by long long mile! No Arijit SIngh, Atif Aslam and current singers can match this quality!
Pehle main sirf Rafi Sahab, Kishore Kumar ji etc etc... in logon ke gaane sunta tha... but jabse Sonu Nigam ji ka pta chla merko ki wo old songs kitna behtreen gaate hai.. tabse wo mere favourite hain.. I've been listening to Sonu sir since 2012 🎤💯♥️

Soulful rendition. But I think Sonu forgot he has sung this as for T Series Album "Rafi Ki Yaadein" when he was young and yet to make bollywood debut. Thats where i heard this song for the first time :)

I had absolutely no idea about original tarck The first time i listen this song that was from sonu ji it actually forced me to go and search for Orignal track and guess what rafi sahab had sung this song effortlessly { no comparison} Sonu ji also sonu ji ☺
Sonu sir is paying tribute but i can see some exaggerated comments here because his voices is trembling while Rafi saab sang it flawlessly.. And it can't be better on any other singer.. I'm sure Sonu sir would also say the same
