Another day, another launch for Guerlain, and the L'Art et la Matière exclusive line has seen it's fill lately (and they are not nearly done with their launches). Jasmin Bonheur is a citrusy orange blossom that at times reminds me of Neroli Outrenoir, Rose Chérie or even Cruel Gardénia but lacking in the depth I was expecting from a scent dedicated to jasmine in their exclusive line. Nevertheless, a beautiful fresh scent.
I had the chance to smell Jasmin Bonheur yesterday and it stayed on my skin until late last night. So, I purchased a sample to explore it more. I discovered in it exactly what you are talking about: a familiar, warm scent that keeps me going back to the Guerlain house. 🎉
I agree with you, it’s a lovely scent but I really have an issue with the price. There’s no way I would be buying this for the full price. Persolaise mentioned this as a vintage smelling scent and I agree with that as well. It’s what makes it appealing to my nose. It keeps amazing me how you can distinguish all the notes. Well done!
I really have an issue with the price as well. If it sold for an Aqua Allegoria price point it would’ve been fine. But 450€ is just insane. No, thank you.
it smells like an 80s lipstick (iris) and hints of fruity and white florals. it changes on skin a lot; it takes about an hour to settle which it may be an issue if the iris is not your thing.. its strong but softens. it lasts for hours. it reminds me of Chanel fragrances. i have an issue with their price; guerlain is more expensive than Dior, or Chanel.
I’ve never smelled a “bad” fragrance ever. I’ve smelled unimpressive ones for sure. And this one is just overpriced for being just a nice fragrance. I love iris myself, but Jasmin Bonheur? I’d take any L’Art et la Matiere over this one 😢
@@MemoryFlo yes, the name is way off too. I love Jasmine, but Iris and white florals are the top notes/overwhelming. It reminds of Lipstick Rose by Frederic Malle but has a slightly fruity undertone. I can still smell it (skin scent) 18hrs later. Not worth the price tag; i cant believe Guerlain's prices.
