Good job my sister! First time hearing your gift tonight! Thank you for singing about the struggle with the flesh and the Spirit. I'm 60 now, and thankfully, I don't have the struggle like I used to but I remember being in my 30's, I was walking with God, and I always wanted to give Him a year of celibacy. I was about 10 months in, and I remember this one night where I thought I was going to lose my mind ... so I just started writing and what came out of it is this poem called "God Said." The poem starts in the flesh, but then you can see where the Spirit takes over and gave me the reason why God says wait. If you want me to share the poem, I will be more than happy to.
