my ex, a narcissist, played this song for me while sitting in his truck one day....he knew it was one of my favs and jason aldean as well. he played it instead of having a serious convo with me about where our relationship was headed. i should have seen that as his way of telling me what he didnt have the mental fortitude to say with his own words. a week later we were broke up and he moved his ex back into the home I had just moved out of. a year later he was back trying to hook up again.....every time i would hear this song it was bittersweet. i love it yet it brought me a sad moment i couldnt shake off....then one day i heard it and realized i hadnt thought about my ex....

I love this song!! If people can't just simply enjoy the video and comment just on that and stop worrying about his personal life and how him and his wife got together, it's none of anyone's business but theirs. Like he is going to give two cents what people think of him. I wish more people would listen to music like this instead of all this rap in destructive music. A lot of this music is really of its sues, the soul. The problem with music nowadays none of it is like really meaningful. It doesn’t tell you anything it’s just about shooting in people and guns and killing everybody. I'm so confused as to how there's Country Music about Santa Cruz CA? This is a song you would probably never EVER actually hear playing in this town...

That's my hometown. I'm a HUGE country fan as well as the Beach Boys.

@@elizabethweiscopf3374 fair enough haha, I lived there off and on from 1992 to 2016 and never heard country music playing literally anywhere but Felton and the rich parts of Watsonville

Then we lived there around the same time. I was just a baby though but I visit all the time. It may not be a place where country is often played but me and a lot of family members love country music. You can be from anywhere and love this type of music.
