My son lived in Idaho, in a town just over the Idaho/Washington border, during the riots. The town heard that rioters were planning to come in and demonstrate one night. My son sent us pictures of the streets filled up with armed men and women waiting for them to arrive. He said that the vans pulled in to downtown, and promptly turned around and left. "Try that in a small town." I stand with Jason Aldean!
That same thing happened on the west side in Snohomish as well lol During the George Floyd riots I saw people in the suburbs with rifles in Bellevue of all places
So rap songs promoting, sex, drugs and murdering each other is acceptable, but music talking about laws being broken and small communities not accepting it, somehow is unacceptable??? Make this make sense.
Rap promoting sex and drugs can disrupt a country, A guy saying to stand your ground and love where you're from can build a country. They don't like that.
"You cancel this you're a sheep" best comment ive ever heard. We're in trouble. This is an awakening for the ones that know they matter. We need to come together as one! Be here for one another and make the ones that want us weak know we ARE STRONG! All we need is each other.
Let’s not forget Jason was performing when shots rang out at the mandalay bay and killed 60 people. Guy has witnessed hatred and evil first hand and is tired of it
Mandalay Bay Casino in my town, Las Vegas Nevada. That day was crazy, hectic and scary AF. My husband and daughter worked right down the road from the Route 91 concert in 2017. GOD BLESS THE VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS,First Responders and others who helped that Tragic Night.
That story still never made sense to me . One guy packs all that shit up to his hotel room under security cameras and no one noticed.i worked at a casino I found a 20$ bill in the floor I turned it in they came back to me 30 mins later told me I dropped it and gave it back
As a black man this song isn’t racist it’s a song of pride and how insanity and chaos isn’t going to happen in small towns where family values and American values reign supreme. I agree with this song! It’s funny how they try to label things and try to bring black people into this by saying it’s racist. Can’t play that card on me anymore. Those days are over.
Isn't it so freeing when you realise they don't have power over your mind anymore. I find it liberating to know I won't be minipulated by a sick, twisted mainstream agenda
you found the root issue; there is only one "pride" and it's gay and trans pride according the media. Everyone else cannot be proud of anything and if we are...it's racist. Appreciate you pointing this out.
I live in a small town in Alabama and this song is true. Mess with our elders, Our folks, Our Law Enforcement and the woods will be the last thing you see.
I'm in cali and it's refreshing to hear young black men with their eyes open and wisdom in their hearts! You are right and I hope you r reaching those crazies!
I’m 34 black man and see nothing wrong with this. I grew up in the DC metro area and have lived in many small towns across the nation as a truck driver. This song is facts and only people offended are city slickers, Karens, and Darrens lol.
I grew up in DC area as well, I was there in '68 just shut of 10 years old and the riots erupted. Parts of the city were destroyed and 30+ years later were still in bad shape. Like you I moved on as an adult. In the small downs neighbors take care of each other and strangers, who ever is in need. As long as the person isn't trying to raise kane or scam they get help. I agree this song is spot on. I'm not a Jason Aldean fan a few of his songs have been good but as a person well I can't say I agree with the way he did his first wife. I stopped listening, but man this one he got right!
Most of the people upset with this are white people writing useless blogs or colored people who haven’t ever seen racism before. As a colored person I have no issue with this or anything they make a big deal out of tbh.
Aman friend amen! So glad to hear these young men taking a look at the entire picture! No matter what folks skin color is I think most Americans would side with Jason, the media on the other hand would rather entice division!
This song is now number one, we won’t let this song be cancelled. It may not get awards but it’s the number one best selling records because we back this. He is just telling the truth about small towns. They stick together
If it actually was # 1, it is because our country remains racist and violently so. You folks are resting on the surface. Do your research. This artist is racist, and this song is designed to stir up violence against anyone who bucks the good ol' boy system that reigns in small towns.
I’m a 52 white male and I’ve watched a lot of Cartier family video reviews and these 4 young men enjoy music of all kinds and have open minds. I like to believe theses 4 men represent a larger percentage of Americans than the media wants people to believe. They keep it 100.
I'm a white Christian conservative, police supporting redneck who votes Republican, and I get frustrated when people label me a racist. They don't get that people like me aren't racist. We're just honest. And honestly, I'd have a beer with these 4 upstanding patriots anytime!👍🇺🇸🦅
As sad as it is, the more recognition these guys get with their views, the more they become the undesired. It seems like once they take more big fish out of relevance, they will attempt to squelch the voices of those who don’t buy the false narrative.
I am not American but I grew up in a small village in Scotland, I remember we used to argue with each other but I remember there were kids who were bullies from the next town picking on one of my fellow village kids, and I never forgot how the all the kids in the village got together to sacre the bullies away, we out numbered them and they ran away. I can confirm this is so true, us country folk take care of our own
People in a small town have their priorities straight. They believe in the constitution and the right to defend themselves and their property. Come to a small town and try that. Do stupid things, win stupid prizes!
I'm black and born in Harlem during the 60's, so it is really nice to see some black men who can objectively watch this video and see that it is not promoting hate or racism! For CMT to pull the video is pure cowardice and they should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting Jason! I listen to country, salsa, smooth R&B, progressive jazz and some EDM, like Calvin Harris. But of all the genres and artist, J.A. is my absolute favorite and does not deserve this type of attack or treatment!!!
Companies are learning real fast that there IS a silent majority in this country and this shit isn't gonna fly anymore. Bending the knee to these activists is a death sentence for companies because whether they submit or not they are forever on the hook. CMT will tank and its their fault
I so much agree with your comments!! I have listened to Country music for most of my life! I enjoy the stories that are told behind every artist in Country music!! My favorite artist is Alan Jackson!!! Jason's Aldean song is all about the good old truth!!! We are living in times where we need strength against the forces of darkness and evil!! Then came along the movie Sound of Freedom, taking on that very thing that we all must unite in taking down evil behind Human Trafficking!! That movie is now shattering records at the box office despite all the negative shots!! Taken to the movie by the media and cowards at the individual movie Cinemas, causing issues watching the film!!! But God is behind this film and nothing will stop its success!! Now, here comes Jason Aldeans' song about something that truly needs to be heard!! And CMT being the cowards they truly are are trying to silence this song!!! But we will send the same message like we did against anyone whom tried to take down the Sound of Freedom!!! That God is moving and Jason Aldean is standing up for what we should all believe in!!! That is why his song has skyrocketed to number on ITUNES!!!
@@damionbarrett4403I agree with everything you said except CMT trying to silence the song if they were trying to stop people from listening to this song they wouldn't have played it to begin with they have no interest in silencing this song CMT is trying to stop people from boycotting them and instead they got other people boycotting them it's a sad Day when a music channel can't even play a music video in fear of being boycotted
How many times did you call your bimbo wife a "n..." during an argument -or even when she had to help you during that other thing? Come on- be honest yikes...
Love the song and what it represents. The US should be proud to have small towns looking after each other. Im from England UK and unfortunately we are losing our freedom of speech and the freedom to defend ourselves. We once knew our neighbours and looked out for each other but those days have long gone.
We have lost of freedom of speech completely w the “Hate Crime Law”, anyone who is in a protected category can get offended w words and have you charged and sent to prison 😅
I can tell you as a vet, and living in a small town of roughly about 4000 in Texas, this song hits home. I can also tell you, the way I was born and raised, serving in the USAF when I see you guys on here, I dont see African American, I don't see black and white, I see AMERICAN, people the bleed red like me and I would stand shoulder to shoulder with you to help people in need and defend this country, and my home. This is what this song is about and hits home to many, many people.
@BigSnipp protesting and rioting are not the same. Protesting is our right, and I fully support it. Protesting is not legal if your stealing, destroying property, hurting people, breaking laws in general. Protests are not what this video was about and isn't what happened in 2020.
Yeah, the color-blind folks to the rescue. This song is racist, and Texas is violently racist. What this song is about is shutting down valid protests against racism.
I'm a black female and all I heard in the song was truth. Awesome song!!! I can't help but feel sorry for those whose minds are so twisted that they label this racist and says it incites violence. It's really sad.
And I saw quite a few white people in this video (and on the news during the riots) acting like damn fools. So I don't see what the problem is. Thank you for your comment and God bless ❤❤❤❤
I'm white, grace2ndchance, is it not racist for them to assume he is talking about black people. Antifa is made up of mostly purple haired liberal white people.
As a black woman, I’m mad as freak! I’ve been riding around in my truck blasting Try that in a small town. I’m a Jason Aldean fan and all of his songs are good in my opinion. I love the lyrics and the video! The song is fire!!
And you’re the reason black history is being wiped out. This video was shot in Columbia, TN. A man named Henry Choates was falsely accused of harassing a white woman. An angry mob sprung him out of jail, tied him up to the back of a truck and dragged his body to a courthouse. He was already dead but was hanged annyway and then the mob proceeded to take photos of themselves smiling in front of his hanging corpse. And Jason’s video was filmed in front of the same courthouse where Henry was killed. There is nothing “fire” about this disgusting display.
Being canceled by the "woke" crowd is like receiving a badge of honor ! 🎖 The "woke" activists have promoted this song directly to the top of the charts ! 😂👍👍
Small town doesn’t have colour it has values ! In a small town , we have take care of our neighbours no matter their colour , in a small town , we are all in a brotherhood GOD above all ❤
Definitely indeed very much truth especially here in Texas where I am living and color here don't mean jack shit only for a persons character. Unlike the woke mob and lying media and scumacrats. American Patriot pride is real truth here. The davos really truly needs to die already with their lying media and cheating asses.
I grew up in a small town back in the 60's and even then color ment nothing to us and if you tried things like they do in the cities today you'd get your ass handed to you
Jason Aldean wrote this song to basically say those of us from small towns don’t take the crap that’s going on in Big Cities. We stick together and take care of our own people!! Too much violence, STUPID violence, going on in this country today. He’s tired of it…..like so many other’s of us!!! ❤
I’m a 66 year old white woman and I love this message. I live in a blue state but I grew up in a small town in Mississippi. I love this message and supported him by purchasing his song. We who believe in justice for all should do the same. Thank you for seeing the good message in this song. Spread the word.
I am a crusty old white guy, and it makes me smile whenever one of your videos pop up. A bunch of strong young men who are willing to think for yourselves and question what you think you know. You guys give me hope for the future.
You aren’t wrong, we are definitely in a bad position. But it needs to be said that the “official reason” it is being “cancelled” is because many of the shots were filmed at a historic lynching site. Yikes, right? 😳😬. Two things can be true at once: I love this song and think it needs to be played everywhere for the next 6 months until we are sick of as the “cha cha slide”; AND I wish they had chosen their filming sites a bit more carefully. Just saying.
@@chilltarts That's all the woke liberals talk about. That wasn't the reason why. Hanna Montanna was filmed there as well as about 6 other movies because it's one of the most beautiful courthouses in the U.S. and there was a riot there. The rioters didn't win. They got run out of town. The dude that got "lynched" there was over 100 years ago in a different time because he murdered somebody, the whole point of the song. Now, we're all gonna get lynched by the woke government.
@@chilltartsNo. Virtually nobody would know what building is in the backdrop, much less that someone was lynched there a hundred years ago. It’s only become known because someone decided to point it out. But nobody cared about that when the courthouse appeared in movies and pictures. Don’t pretend this is about the courthouse.
@@TheYamahog12 That’s a great point. I’m from northeast I have no idea the history of that building nor do I really care enough to know it’s stained past. Many cases in left are of stained past and instead of beating a dead horse let’s move forward.
I'm a white female, I think we all should get along on this earth, we bleed the same color blood, but violence is not the answers, burning flags and looting, Jason Aldean this song speaks volumes on what is happening.. these people that destroyed this Country need to watch the entire video and not judge by the words they hate to hear.. they did this to us.. ❤ 🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏
the victimizers are afraid of what you will do to them. Thus they want people to react with violence to distract people from where the super villains areh iding.
Thank you guys, just keep your minds open, That's what America is all about, we don't have to agree, but we can look from both sides, and learn. Love you all, Thank you!
Black woman here. I love Jason Aldean's song. 💞 Love your Country Singing too Guys!❤😅 Young men, please stay away from these vulgar women. Their nasty!🤢🤮
As a young black man from a small country town in Louisiana.. I approve this message lol. Crazy how all this drill rap goes unbothered but this type of song gets banned from a network. 😂😂 CRAZY
@@sarahd8093 I see you! My pops side from the 7th Ward and my mom’s side (where I was raised) is from Plaquemines Parish, East Bank. About a 30 minute ride from the city.
I just came across you guys reaction to this song and I got to say im just in love with all 4 of you guys. Im a 60 year old lady. Y'all are just amazing and I truly love y'all's reaction ❤
They say, "A lynching, video, racist, blah, blah"... I live in a small town in Alabama, (8,000?) and we're half black, half white, let me tell you what, anyone that messes with our town, or any of us, no matter the color, we'd be on you like a dog on a bone. This is OUR town! Don't come here w/no foolishness. Our redneck country boys come in both colors and we protect our own. (We need more country songs from y'all.)
This is what liberals can't understand when they make broad generalizations and try to force laws and beliefs onto cultures they know nothing about. Out in the country, black or white doesn't matter. Rednecks come in all colors and black rednecks hate city blacks and thug culture as much as anyone else in my experience, if not moreso.
I’m from a small town in Tennessee! We’re the same, half black and half white and we take care of our people! My neighbor is an old black man and his air conditioning went out last week…he had a brand new unit the next day because we all came together and bought him one. He has known me since I was born, he’s like my 2nd daddy! No way we’d let that man go in this heat without air conditioning! We take care of our own! We’re all armed too! Nobody tries that sh*t here! It’s the globalist agenda to try to keep us apart and hating each other! Stand strong! We all bleed red! We’re all human, stop looking at color. It don’t matter! 💯
I love that you guys did this. Not only did you point out that absolute stupidity behind pulling the video and the people who are offended, but you also showed that all genres of music can be enjoyed by anyone. Like the younger boys who discovered "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. They flipped out at the drums. It was cute. It's folks like you that prove that music of all kinds can be shared and enjoyed by everyone.
I’m a Brown American that grew up in a small farm town. My father (adopted) is a farmer and I’ve literally seen farmers plant and harvest for great men who have fallen ill. This resonates with many Americans. There’s so much power in this song.
You guys are awesome! Small town is the perfect example of what the USA needs to be! We need to stand up against the big government and media BS promoting the violence in the streets. When an artist sings about it, Try that in a small town, then they go nuts!
I am a 57 year old white woman who is literally crying because I am so thankful for your reactions to this song. I pray every day for men like you guys to come forward and tell the world that woke is wrong. That we don’t hate each other-black, white or brown. We all just want to live our lives, go to work, go to school, enjoy each other and our time together on this earth. That time is so short and we are wasting it. Thank y’all for this. I am definitely following you guys now. ❤️☮️
55 year old white woman here. I think you are missing the idea if woke. Woke is tolerance, letting people be who they are and live as they want. You may be confusing woke with cancel culture, which is completely different.
@@bumper321woke is intolerance, forcing one's left leaning views on others and silencing dissent. Woke tried to silence Aldean's message by making wild and untrue claims about his song.
I think woke has change in definitely the way No cap has change in meaning. I've noticing that those preaching tolerance are the quickest to make assumptions on race and practice intolerance. Looking forward to a day where we are treated as individuals and not demographics
I'm from a small town that's fairly racially diverse. I can guarantee if Antifa, BLM or any other rioters showed there would be white, black and brown people ready to show them the way back out of town. This song isn't about race it's about communities coming together to protect who and what they love. I love watching you young men!!
I live in a small town, Shelbyville Ky, between two large cities. The community feel is never alike anything. And I’m Mexican but I’ve always felt welcomed here. That giving help is real you get and give because the community teaches you it’s a norm. ❤
I live in a small town. A few years ago we had a man commit a horrible act on a child. The men were on the square planning to “get him before sundown”. The sheriff beat them to him. Hardly anyone got worried and upset over Covid. We just planted another row in the garden. Someone ask me why we don’t have much crime and violence in this town, because 95% of homes have between 1-20 guns. Enter at your own risk.
@bobnunyabiznz4917 if people like Bob wanna live how it is in big cities with endless crime and criminals constantly getting released and defending those actions, I say let them, as a hispanic living in a small border town, I'm fine with letting them live with what they vote for, lolol
I think we can all agree, none of wants our towns burnt down, businesses destroyed, and people harmed. We want our loved ones safe and able to live peacefully together. Everything got out of control . United we can overcome such chaos and destruction . Thanks guys for sharing this.
the guy in the video where he took out the robbers in the store was a marine and that was the real person as well. its about not about race its about the stupidity that happens more in a city the violence rioting he is against the bad stuff not about any race.
Rock and Rap music have been singing about crime, violence, politics, misogyny, drug abuse, sex, and overall anti-establishment ideals for decades..... yet this is what they try to cancel? This country has gone crazy.
White man from a small town and I love the song and these guys are invited to come hang out anytime!! It’s not about RACE! Or sex, sexuality, income, etc… it’s about character
Character and pride. Pride for your town and the want to keep it safe and clean. I never understood why people (white and black) in large cities riot, loot and destroy stores owned by their neighbors. Why destroy stuff you have to look at?
@@littlewing5682Its like the comment these guys read at the end of that Jesse Lee Peterson vs BLM video they reacted to. The black lives matter say, "We're here to rebuild the community, then burns down the community". It sounds ridiculous, but that is literally the agenda that the left is pushing.
The fact that Aldean’s song is going viral is a good read on the mood of the country. The fact that the woke mafia is triggered by the song tells you all you need to know about them.
As usual, the racist leftists of Twitter associate all of the crimes in that video with black people instead of the OBVIOUS MESSAGE of the difference between the big city "community" and small towns. Edit: F CMT FOR REMOVING THIS SONG.
Its white liberals that are "offended" by it. The fact the people of all races, ages, and backgrounds agree with the meaning of this song about standing together against woke insanity is driving them even more nuts.
I found you a few months ago debating current issues. You were so respectful of each other even when you disagreed. It hit me hard that you're the exception in these upside down days. I don't know when or why you decided to post your debates but they drew me in. So glad to see young men with brains who aren't the marshmallows the media is determined to make them. Keep talking, and 'singing'. People are listening. ❤
I lived in the middle of all that. My husband and I took turns sleeping because of how afraid our babies were. Yes, I saw it first hand, where it all started, in Minneapolis MN. I remember driving from my inlaws up north with my kids and on the way home we were driving with the National Guard. My kids were cheering and waving at them. I was crying because those trucks gave me hope that the rioting would end. I don't go out at night anymore. And yes, we protect our home with our 2nd Amendment right! 2020 proved to me why we needed a firearm in the home. I'm leaning towards 40 and I didn't touch a gun until I was 31, when I learned firsthand how dangerous this world is. Someone broke into my home, I was alone, my kids were staying with family for the weekend, and I'll leave it at that. I will never let that happen again. I even grew up in a small town in MN. People that weren't in the heart of the riots will never know how terrifying it was.
Ma’am I want you to know how sorry I am this happened to you and your family. I was raised in and still live in the same very rural small south Alabama community. My granddaughter is the 8th generation to be on this land. We have never saw color on people. My first friend was a black boy 2 miles away that I started kindergarten with. We are 52 now and he is still my brother. I’ve never thought about until now but I guess I have more black friends than my color. I point I’m trying to make is there is still hope for this country. As a Marine Corps veteran I’ve fought and bled for this country and if asked I would again. It really broke my heart reading your words for I’ve seen the same things abroad. We haven’t lost our country yet. Please remember that. Semper Fi.
As a Veteran and one who loves America....Much respect you guys!!! So refreshing to hear you guys totally understand the point Jason Aldean was making!!
i just love you guys, coming from an indian here. someone burning up a country's flag, nope that guy aint going far. anyone doing out here in our country wont see he next sunlight.

Hello my young beautiful black American men. This song resonates with my soul. I'm an American Patriot. I live in a predominantly white town. We take care of our own. We love and know everybody. Kinda like being big but small. Everybody know everybody family lol. It's great that you see things for what it is and not what it appears to be. Shine on my brothers.
That is how it should be no matter if you live in a small town, a big city or on the moon. People need to stand up for what's right no matter what color we are. I also feel most people do that. Look how everyone comes together after tragic events, such as 9/11, Boston Marathon bombing, etc. Idiots that insight violence are not right. Just stop it.
I was in charlotte in 2015 when the riots started my grandparents loaded up with my aunt to pick me up from college because they were destroying the city of charlotte not even a mile away from my dorm. To say I was terrified is the least to say. They’re from Concord, NC that is far from a small town but they do take care of their own. That’s the truth. I admire Jason for putting this song out, and defying all the “rules” and doing the damn thing.
I’ve lived in small towns my whole life. When you live in a small town you know everyone and the community is closer then that of big cities. You care about people’s kids and the direction of the community. You watch old people die and children grow. People in small towns have their own individual family values. When something happens to someone there it happens to everyone! Media has taken the idea of small town living and portrayed it as something it’s not. Small town people understand the value in protecting what they have worked hard for their whole lives. That means family, generational heritage, personal freedoms, and their liberties. They take these things very seriously.
And TOTALITARIAN TYRANNY MUST BE REJECTED. Jesus, it's LITERALLY why EUROPEAN Americans rejected King George's rule and fought for INDEPENDENCE. The PRINCIPLE remains the same.

It really speaks volumes of your characters and how well you were raised. Keep up the amazing content! I may not agree with everything y’all do on certain things but that’s what makes the world interesting. How boring would it be if we all had the same hivemind? I’m always impressed with you all. Thank you for the content and your open mindedness for all kinds of issues going on and controversial topics. Loved your interview with Vivek Ramaswamy. That’s was awesome. Much love from Hawaii 🤙🏻
I'm Hispanic and born/raised in a small town in the midwest, my husband is Hispanic also...someone pulled a firearm on him at work and the cops got on it fast (guy is looking at some good time in jail)...when Aldean says we protect our own...he means small town folk, no matter the color, etc. who don't take kindly to that "big city sh#t"...
@@michaelahenderson2793sound of freedom actually hurts the cause of child trafficking unfortunately. If it would’ve been a documentary and not about Tim Ballard who has been proven to have lied about a ton of his stories including the story portrayed in the movie, then i think the message would’ve been better conveyed. I saw the movie and as a movie alone, it had its flaws obviously with the filmmaking, a lot of the choices filmmaking wise were odd, like the fading transitions being so often. I liked the cinematic shots of the film, but i felt that at certain points the film almost went a little too far with the depiction of the despicable actions towards children. They let the scenes linger a little too long past the point where the audience understood what was going on and was already uncomfortable. Now onto the message, Tim Ballard has been exposed plenty of times for lying and embellishing his stories. The funding for his organization is very suspect because the mormons who fund it are asking why their funds aren’t going into saving children. The film also passed off the issue of child trafficking as an only South American / Mexican Issue and not one that happens in the USA everyday. On top of it, the promotion behind the film has tricked people into thinking that the movie is being cancelled or silenced. That can’t be further from the truth. They just aren’t paying to promote it on mainstream sources like ABC, NBC, FOX, or during sports games. They either didn’t want to spend the money to promote it on the bigger networks or they didn’t do that strategically so they can play the narrative that “they don’t want you to see this.” that’s why they promoted it on Fox, OAN, NewsMax, DailyWire, Etc, because those networks thrive off of Cancel Culture content. They feed off of things and people being cancelled for their news stories, or things going “woke.” Nobody has a problem with hating and trying to stop Child Trafficking, but this movie isn’t helping, it’s actually harming the victims who haven’t yet been saved.
this song is Truth, it has nothing to do with race. It's about disrespect. God, Family, Country first. Loyalty, support, Protect. before your feelings.
Just found your! I'm an older white woman and it makes me proud to see how many black reviewers are coming out in support of Jason Aldean and this song. Y'all are killing it for pointing out how non-racist his music is! New sub! 👍
I'm also a older black woman who did MLK marches at 15. I'm happy to see black people waking up to how they've Been used, abused n played. Let's unite against the real enemy of us all!! Bless us everyone.
Why did Aldean choose to film the video for this song at the Court House in Columbia TN - the same Court House where a lynch mob hung 18 year old Henry Choate, a young black teenager, for supposedly attacking a white women although she could not identify him as the attacker? Aldean's song is sending a racist MAGA message. Its obvious.
