Honestly, it was so obvious he as doing it to protect Carly. He's ALWAYS put her first, even over his relationship with Sam, and even Robin back in the day. Just glad it's finally been revealed. I'm also interested to see everyone's reactions. I bet Sam will be pissed at Jason, but also Carly.
I don’t think it matters… Carly put Jason above everyone else long before the writers decided to revisit the “romance” arc between them and vice versa. That’s why I’m so tired of people complaining. Been the same shit for the last 30 years… Drew wants to be first in her life and Carly can’t give that to him… I think he made the right choice. Better than sticking around and whining about it like Liz and Sam used to do. If someone can’t give you what you need… let it go
That’s not assumption that was just fact it’s what she has always done she never once denied it when he told her she would always put Jason first because she knew it was true otherwise she would have fought harder for Drew
@@tdomonique504Sam didn’t really whine about it until they got married. Sam had always accepted their friendship even when Carly really hit her nerves. Sam at times was way too understanding.
Poor Jason always gets the short end of the stick. He should get a medal for all the fbi work he has done. They should keep him doing fbi work and use sonny's business as a front to catch other dangerous people.
He cares about his kids but what Sam said to him really have u taking your meds that his son also the child is going to make up his own mind about his dad

@@karenmartin8894 Actually we don't know if his meds have been switched yet. Valentin only came up with that plan after the warehouse shooting attempt didn't work. For all we know Sonny may have just started the fake pills or hasn't requested a refill yet. Either way I think all this crazy combative attitude from Sonny is all him up to this point. Valentin should be punched in the throat for even thinking about messing with his meds. He knows Sonny could become uncontrollably violent or suicidal and he has kids that he's around.
I don’t trust her judgment anymore. If she can turn on SONNY, she can turn on JASON. (Wonder how she will feel about taking SONNY down when she finds out that VALENTIN manipulated his Meds?)
DONNA is almost always with CARLY. (SONNY just ran into them on the playground together recently.) She is a working Mom, with a lot of “irons in the fire” after all. CARLY may be many things, but no one can accuse her of being a neglectful parent. js
I love Anna to bits, but I initially found it so odd that she was suddenly directing all this anger at Sonny and none at Jason. Like, they're both criminals and she knows it. And I certainly can't blame her for taking her job as commissioner seriously, but her suddenly flipping a switch on Sonny over Cyrus seemed like it came out of nowhere. I've thought about it though, and I think maybe it comes down to Anna's personal principles. She's a person who believes that sometimes the ends justify the means. And Jason proves to her right here that he's been doing the things he's been doing out of love for Carly. On the other hand, you have Sonny, who recently beat Cyrus unconscious and then tried to have him killed... just cause he was in a bad emotional state. And I think that's something Anna can't really give the benefit of the doubt. I think she sees Sonny as kind of a loose cannon right now who needs to be reined in, but she still sees Jason as someone who makes the choices he does for a reason, and believes those reasons to be worthwhile ones.
I just don’t like Jason anymore. The writers have made him out to be someone that doesn’t care about his children, or Sam. Back in the early 2000s Jason always wanted to protect Sam and he wanted a child with her. They went through that whole thing with Franco. Now it just feels like they’re trying to come up with a story line so out there it doesn’t fit. Ugh. I miss the old Jason and Sam 😭
Like Jason wouldn't have done the same to save Liz or Sam or his kids if it meant keeping them out of jail.. So stupid to make out that carly is special.. Jason is stupid to put everyone before his kids though
And Sam n carly saying Danny is so much like his dad.. Jason is brain damaged.. Danny would have to be like Jason q to get Jason's qualities and quirks passed on..
Well, he no different than most of the characters in the show. Sonny puts the mob over his kids… Drew pretty much did the same thing when he went to jail and where is lucky again? Aiden doesn’t even know what he looks like. Also please stop pretending he didn’t help Carly get those Rico charges. Remember him asking her to go to the meeting with the 5 families in his place because he was shot.. and she agreed to keep her family protected. We’re not going to sit here a pretend Carly short time in the Mob Jason wasn’t there holding her hand through it. I think it would be against the characters arc to allow his best friend to rot in prison for life( cause Rico charges are usually NOT beat, idc how good your attorney is.. they don’t bring charges without 100% proof) while your current living in the life free as a bird. Ya’ll act like if he hadn’t took the deal he was going to be picking up his sons from Soccer practice in a mini van .. lol He would still be working for Sonny and Carly would be in jail… Jason is a criminal… murderer to be exact. Dude wasn’t never going to be at the school recitals and Liz and Sam knew that before that both chose to have children for him. Just like they both knew Carly and Michael was his center focus. So it’s not just Jason’s fault it’s all of the parents. When people show you who they are… believe them.
Jason's not a deadbeat. Sam & her kids are literally living in the fortress of an apartment that he gave her, for free. I'm sure he provided money & anything they need. That being said he IS an absentee father, which is not much better. I hope he'll get a stronger relationship w/ his sons now that they are older. Don't forget, Liz & Sam chose to have babies w/ a mob enforcer who literally m*rders ppl & is always in & out of prison. They were both bad moms for that.
@@AceVenturaaawell in Liz case she didn’t choose to have a child by Jason. They actually used protection and she got pregnant because the condom was defective. She didn’t know who Jake’s father was when she first got pregnant. When she found out she kept the truth from him until the Metro Court hostage situation. Now Sam on the other hand married Jason and wanted to have a baby with him. Actually, after she lost baby Lila and fell in love with Jason that’s all she wanted, but Sam was different back then. Sam had no problem with danger. She was a con woman. She was diving for treasure or whatever. Sam was attracted to danger and it wasn’t like she grew up with stability. It wasn’t until Jason died that she got to experience a man putting her first and a safe family environment. She experienced that with Patrick and with NuJason aka Drew. Sam changed, which wasn’t a bad thing because she had kids. Not to mention being in Jason’s life caused her to get shot, she had a mini breakdown, where I considered it a breakdown since she watched Jake get kidnapped. I don’t really like her holier than thou attitude, but she has every right to put Jason in his place. Jason cannot or does not know how to be there for his kids. All he seems to know is be there for Carly and her family. Carly isn’t no better. If Carly really love Jason she would tell Jason to be there for her boys.
@@darc2406lol he’s pretended to be a dad twice. Both times were for Carly. Once because she asked the other time was because he wanted to keep her family with Sonny together. Jason does extreme things for people he loves but it’s disingenuous to pretend that he doesn’t do things he wouldn’t normally do when Carly is concerned. That man has been presumed dead for almost 3 years. He let everyone he loves grieve him and is working with the feds.
