i can, on your swing as you come out of the ball you want to feel your finger tips in the now using your finger tips as your THUMB comes out of the ball, pull your finger tips up and you should feel a burn in them. What I do is when I release is my fingers are pointing directly to the left (I'm right handed) then I release my thumb while I bring my hand up for the follow up. Is that good?

as the ball comes off your hand lift with your fingers NOT your thumb

I do that but either way I was doibg it correctly?

You don't really want to manipulate your game just to create more hook. Such as cupping the wrist if that is not the norm for you. Bowl your own style. All your hook comes from the torque in your lift at the end of your swing and the ball/ drilling lay out of the bowling ball. Your best option is to go to a stronger ball.
