i could watch this video a hundred times over. The blues tune choice itself, coupled with the interpretation the dancers are giving to the music groove, is nothing short of incredulous. Katie and Jason's talent is astounding and their smooth moves are delightful. The way they danced this number exuded unadulterated pleasure in losing oneself to the sensuality and the smooth mood of the music. If their intention in dancing this number at the event was to impress, then they hit the mark in spades.

Their dancing together ended when Jason passed away unexpectedly in 2009 from cardiac arrest due to pneumonia as well as an enlarged heart. He was only 31 years old and the world lost a talented and vibrant dancer way too soon.

Oh my gosh I wasted my youth going to school, and neglected important life skills like getting good at dance and really enjoying it...They are marvelous!!!!!

yes...imo he let her have the spotlight. For me that shows his confidence, self assuredness, & his ability of great talent. That is such a sultry & selfless act in a man. They both were amazing dance partners who were blessed in so many ways. Thankful that we have these videos to watch & admire their graceful, fun & beauty of dance partnership.
They had such chemistry dancing as a team and very sexy but in good taste and clean professional dancers.. Dang I miss them.They were the first Two I watched when I came across this professional dancing channel. I was actually looking for Our dance (southern shag in Myrtle Beach s.c.) when I saw this channel.. Been following ever since..I'm a huge Robert Royster and Ben Morris and Jessica cox and Nicola Roystonand Milissa Rutz..But I would enjoy seeing Katie Boyle back with this dance team...

Yeah, to have a partner like Jason, who is sensational and is all about making his partner look good. What an amazing and effortless ‘lead’ he has. Any other male with his ability would be positively strutting around, wearing tight pants and a low cut shirt.... but not Jason.... he’s happy to take a back seat. He is phenomenal.

They are great together dancing. It’s so important for the man to take the lead when dancing and she follows. Katie looks appealing wearing her crop top. Can wear those if you don’t have stretch marks on the stomach
This is dancing - yeah they practiced those moves, but there were many good dancers in Chicago in the '50s short of the flourishes that were as good. Surprised to hear of his passing, they were definitely the Fred & Ginger of Swing dancing.

Those two are so very good together, it is as if the music was written to go along with their swanky smooth moves. Watching them gives me the absolute chills. I feel heartbroken that she has lost her dance partner, those two were absolutely EXCELLENT together. I hope she can find another partner once she gets over her sorrow of losing him.

Their dancing is the best 'literal' interpretation of music I've ever witnessed. This talent and quality made their performances awesomely enjoyable. RIP Jason Colacino; what a sad tragedy.

Love this couple doing this dance, so fluid with great musical interpretation can,t believe it was so long ago and he died so tragically early, such a loss. Rip.
