I like hard hitters, when the song calls for it. When it requires smoothness or hardness mixed with smoothness I prefer that. Weather it's a guy or a girl. I thought that Jade was getting better at smoothness and versatility, but in this dance I think she fell short, and that has nothing to do with her gender.

Why bring sexism into this? I'd say the same if she were a man dancing too hard in every song without versatility. We just noticed a pattern that we think if she improved that could take her to a whole new level because she's already great in technic and performance.

I've never seen anyone mention anything about masculinity but I respect the fact that you took your time to formulate your own opinion about this. But you have to look at it from the other POV as well. Most of these comments about Jade's style of dancing don't seem sexist and maybe there are some that are; but i think the majority of people that are coming for jade's interpretation of the choreography and not gabe's has more to do with her fan base as a whole. A lot of Jade's supporters will literally think every single thing she does is perfect and overlook every other dancer in the video so people are getting really fed up, especially if they themselves don't think she's all that and a bag of chips. In my opinion Jade danced waaaay harder than Gabe did, but it fit this style of choreography really really well. I thought she did great.

Jujubee honestly I don't think she messed up... I think most choreographers make the mistake of placing her at the back all the time making her seem less competent... she's the only kid so far that can incorporate choreography with music and not just follow steps... she stood out on this one

She definitely missed a couple of steps, but she's human and that's what class is for (even when all this recording makes it not feel like class) What matters is that she performs and brings the fire when it really counts, like SYTYCD. ( And even then, I'm sure they get more than just a single take)

I'm biased towards her, just noticed she missed a step or 2 now😂😂 that's how much effect she has on me

nah she is just aggressive. if they were doing this on stage at a show she'd do it differently. class is for dancers to put their touch on a piece. she has definitely been dancing differently lately, but she felt differently about this choreography so that's how she danced it. and she definitely isn't counting in her head, that's pure performance.

MycThePoet21 & im just saying her hard hitting doesn't match with this song. That's where I've been getting at this entire time. This is song is a dancehall/Caribbean inspired track, & dancehall is more smoove, sexy, dancing, not hard hitting. Jades "style" doesn't fit with this. That's why I said she needs to be more versatile, & how not every piece is meant to be hard hitting. 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄
