This is a great scene is makes us remember that AJ and Jason were friends, even after Jason's accident. If this is Oct 2000, it took them less than 5 years to turn this relationship into crap and AJ into a raving loon. They really did a number on AJ.
Guza really was an idiot. I hated the way they wrote AJ and Jason's relationship. So ruined. I would have loved to see these three siblings ALL close. Sigh.
Agreed, 100%. If AJ had lived till now I believe he and Jason would have found common ground, and since Drew didn’t have Jason’s angst he’d definitely have come to call AJ his brother
Watching just reminds me of how they wrecked Jason and AJ's relationship. He and Sean Kanan's AJ were still close after the accident. Why did they have to make AJ out to be such slime at the end?
@@acain6133 I was excited when A.J. came back. Some of us were happy when Michael was upset with Carly and Sonny for what they did to A.J. I can't stand Sonny and Carly.
Thank you very much for posting that clip! The scene was so heartfelt. Do you have the scenes where AJ passes out (from alcohol intoxication) and has to be rushed to the hospital (Lila asks him to wake up, and he does)? If you do, could you post them? I would be so grateful to you. I've been looking for those scenes everywhere.
Was destroying AJ and the love, bond, and friendship between two of daytime's greatest brothers really necessary? I loved AJ and Jason together. I also loved them with Emily. Guza is an idiot. GH was golden..... until he got his hands on it.
Guza was already writing the show during this time. What’s different here is that Wendy Riche was executive producer and still held the show in check. Bob Guza’s 2nd stint under Jill Farren Phelps was where his misogyny was in complete full effect and AJ was sacrificed as a result.
I would have loved to see AJ, Emily, and Jason on screen together more - I suppose now all three of them are gone, well, AJ is coming back now with Jason gone...who knows, maybe Emily will be found alive and Jason will return and our dreams of seeing the siblings together will come true
In all reality the reason Aj and Jason couldnt get along was because of their dad and grandfather. Those two was constantly pinning them brothers against each other and always making Aj hate Jason because they would constantly tell him he wasnt good enough or to be more like Jason long before the accident. Then after the accident its like they blamed Aj for Jason leaving when it was all of them and that kind of control he wanted to leave.
not at all pre accident Jason and AJ mostly got along quite well the accident is what permanently changed things and the Michael situation created a venom and hatred that was to deep to get past....
