Jason Kelce is one of the unsung heroes of our team. This guy is a warrior and goes out there on game day epitomising the true essence value of toughness. I cant remember a time he missed a game because of an injury and he goes out there and he goes to battle with his line mates and other offensive mates and never quits or complains. Like i said we better not let this guy walk out the door after this season.

The more people like Lane Johnson to talk openly about his depression, the more people will understand that it is an illness that can be treated. There is no shame in seeking help no matter if you are a teenager, overwhelmed working Mom, a stressed out father, a football player, actor, etc. You are stronger by taking that step to get help. I was diagnosed in the late 80's and it was still back then something that wasn't admitted, or discussed. I've made sure I've told everyone. I'm so happy Lane is now with his guys on that awsome front line, singing Christmas songs and making money for charities.

Naw I disagree. Future nfl players should be allowed to wear any numbered jersey because teams in the nfl constantly bring in young and veteran talent yearly. New players deserve to wear former players who were great and HOF. Let them shine in whatever jersey number they wanna wear…retiring jersey numbers is stupid to me.

@@amoses11 Retiring a jersey is a sign of respect from the organization to the player. There will never be another and that’s why it’s done. It’s a great way to show the admiration towards these type of athletes.

I think it'll be better to put that particular player in the teams ring of honor or team hall of fame or give him his jersey perfectly framed. But to me it just makes no sense to retire a player's number because if you do that then there will hardly be any numbers for future nfl players to wear and be great at what they do.

And they also have such a AWSOME , sibling realationship. A real one.. Kelce is that dude! He'll never have to buy a beer in Philly. I remember when we drafted him, he had to play through a lot of adversity (people were calling him undersized and questioned whether or not he could do it). Dude is the embodiment of Philly (in addition to A.I, Dawkins, Chase Utley and a few others).

Yeah that would be undersized for a center and Jason has to make it a point to keep that much weight on him. My brother was a Center @ 6’2 345lbs & no he was not fat but strong as hell. The perfect size & on his way to the NFL before he made some poor choices. Now he’s 240 cause he doesn’t have to keep his weight up for scouting.
