Clippers not going to shoot that high of a percentage the whole series.. some of the contested shots they made tonight were on a "10 out of 10 on difficulty". Mavs got penalized hard for coming out energetic. That all being said, Kyrie alone took over the second half of that game. Luka has to step up injured or not or get out of the GOAT conversations. P.S. Jason Kidd is still the main problem!!
Going Small Ball in the 4th, yes a good tactic temporarily, not 10 minutes straight to end the game!? Going Small there helped open up the lanes for Kai & Luka to get going offensively. But trading baskets is no good when your down. Once Luka/Kai got going, slip those Biggs back in, get some blocked shots that lead to transition points, maybe an offensive rebound etc ... Kidd out-coached himself. Smh
The summer ball is not a problem, if anything it helps him to stay in "shape". But...his biggest problem is he doesn't take it serious, to lose a bit more weight and build his body to a bit stronger physics and condition it. When he doesn't have his legs, his threes are not going in. Sure, he has problem with the knee, but this is happening because he is not in playoff shape, sadly
@@NightTimeRushyea he needs to commit to his fitness, the reason he keeps getting these nagging injuries is because he’s out of shape. He needs to look at Jokic, who years ago made a full commitment to his body and he never misses games or gets tired at the end of games.

It's genuinely because I remember him being really great 2020, 2021 playing against clips. He was slimmer. No nagging injuries. And his playstyle was different. He was faster, agile. Biggs were in when Mavs erased that 31 point deficit. Small Ball teams hope and pray their opponents sit their Biggs, then they laugh their ass off when you do. Because now you've played into their strengths, not yours.
3 pointers was the game plan. Took too long to make that adjustment to run them off the three point line. Too many get to the line and step back. You allowed them to dribble the ball to the line. Meet them early. Green lots of turn overs at that time as well while others missing easy layouts resulting in the score getting out of hand. Harden was on repeat in the last quarter with no one in the center. Now you know what their game plans are. Be ready for both Zubac/plumlee inside and the three point (Harden and George). Be ready to make the adjustments right away. Look at all the games and you will see their strategy. Luka has to be better. Stop falling behind. I.e. both games lost were like that. Trying to come from behind. They hit early and it was like no response. Taking too long to respond will cause you the series. Like deers steering in the headlights. Be ready to make adjustments right away. This is chess, you have to work all scenarios out before games so you don't have to wait until after half time for changes. During the regular season a lot of these “star” players be playing 50% of the game! Then when the playoffs start and teams force them to defend their offensive game falls apart or suffers! Especially the efficiency! I call it getting Exposed!
I'm a Doncic hater too. But the reason his shooting is bad is not because he is going hard on D. Its the way the refs are allowing the clips to beat on him that is disrupting him.
Something about afternoon games and Kawhi not playing are making these guys complacent. The coaching staff needs to get these guys locked in. Two afternoon games without Kawhi, lost first half twice, both losses. That's not a coincidence.

I will live with super hot 3-point shooting, but I CANNOT live with Harden driving the lane for easy baskets. I felt they should've kicked it to a zone temporarily and then pull a trap on Harden, and have Lively in there for blocks and rebounds. But of course Kidd did NONE of that, just watched the ship go down.
Easy buckets bc refs all series have been given ghost and touch calls while allowing hard fouls on luka. Thug ball tactics and dirty money refs have fixed every game 2 didn't work 2 did. FIXED
That sequence at the end was PATHETIC. They let Harden walk into his shots and that’s it. No help whatsoever. I was pissed. And Luka looked like a cond
I hadn't realized how crucial Luka's defensive effort is. When he got in foul trouble, you could see that our team defense was not the same. After we got into the 2nd quarter and the fouls weren't as detrimental, you could see that our defense became aggressive and we got back into the game. The same thing in the 4th quarter. After Luka got his 5th foul, he couldn't play with defensive force.
You have to question why refs continually allow clips to hard foul luka and not call but call silly touch fouls for harden. This is bias and this whole let's let team play physical all of a sudden is a ploy to allow thug ball to stop Luka. The refs are fixing these games and mavs been doing a great job of not falling for these mind blowing calls. The public is still asleep and very stupid to see how fixed this series is.

If we start like we did the previous two games we’re in way better shape. We gotta be better early not later. But it was good to see them fight back from 31 but let’s not get in the habit of starting slow early. They do that and get back to stifling defense through 4 quarters and they’ll be fine.

15 mins after the game, I was upset but then feeling really positive for next game. Took George and Harden to have a crazy game. If PG missed that 3 after we got a lead for the first time, they were done lol

Not worried. Clippers shot INCREDIBLE against great defense. They made their shots early mavs just couldn’t get the shots to drop early. If we can have a good start early we will be fine.

I'm hurt I worked at lowes in alamogordo which is a branch of the main in Littlefield and was fired. What I've been trying to do is give back to this community and join the military while not playing. I was hurt by a champion. Not mad. Sad that comments had to be stated during moments of courtesy. I just lost 15 IQ points reading this. Luka is playing hurt and sick, and he is taking beating every time he touches the ball. The egregious officiating in the first five minutes took him out of the game defensively.
