@@conemedemelee20 I hate this kind of comment. Just because something is mainstream doesnt mean its bad or awful, this music is just for another kind of people, and I'm glad it is, we can enjoy our company instead of complaining about others
@@Guille-mz7xf well then deal with it bro. u can´t do anything to change others minds just because you hate those kind of comment all right? don´t read my comment, don´t read this kind of comments and keep with ur own bussines
I was just thinking how much i was enjoying this video when he pulled Jed the humanoid out the bag. Now I'm wondering if I'll ever enjoy a video as much as this again.
How did I miss this?? I think I've seen grandaddy twice back in the day. His voice will always hold a very special time period of memories in my mind. Yay. Cool version of jed
Hi, Elliott. We're in the process of switching and our Tiny Desk Concerts are now being shot with DSLRs. You'll see that full transition reflected in the posts over the next few weeks!
My dream is to meet this man. His music has done something to me. I'd say it was a major part of my destruction and reconstruction of self... aka restored child-brain.
Is his name pronounced as it's spelled (lie- til) or is it 'little'? I hope someone can answer this😊. I just found out..it's pronounced Lie-til. Glad to finally know.😌
He's friends w Little Wings, I hope they do acollab! & he was good friends w Elliott Smith too. There is some footage of Elliott singing a grandaddy song which is rad
I don't think its a 3/4, pretty sure Lytle's just a big guy. Looks like a Martin D-15M to me. Martin makes some nice smaller body guitars as well that are more reasonable than their full size lines, check it out.
@@MeatSnax it is a 000-15 series, I asked him actually, and he said he prefers the smaller body size because it's easier to record with less low end, and doesn't compete with his voice. I asked him on Instagram around the time I wrote that first comment and he actually responded. Also, he is not a very big guy at all, I've met him. Sorry to contradict you but I do know
Yeah, I think it may also be a matter of the mix or his distance from the microphone. On studio recordings, his vocals are usually more present / louder in the mix.
Rory Cowieson what type of guitar is that? Sounds amazingly full, for such a little guitar. The only guitar I ever played that had such a full tone like that was a guild
'i've place to earn you in nimes(2017 france and your bass is dead, ...) i listen too grandaddy since 've 18, nobody knows you here i'm proud you're not coming and respect your band...i am keyboard player and you are bester now... rip K g...
