Yikes. That was so awkward. I actually felt embarrassed for the interviewer. It seems like she felt the vibe too and couldn't redeem herself or think of any interesting questions to ask. I do give her credit though for trying to focus her attention more on Lisa than on Jason though. If she had tried that friendly arm grab on Jason it wouldn't have gone over well.

I think I'm the only one who's on the side of the interviewer. Lisa seems to be and introvert that is irritated by most people. And so am I actually, but the interviewer is just doing her job, and that bubbly approach usually is what gets more people to open up and talk. And lisa is probably used trying to flirt with jason, but I think her defensiveness actually came across as insecurity to me. She is probably very aware of the fact she is a woman in her 50's dating an attractive man in her 30s, and might be self concious about it... but she is gorgeous and Jason is obviously crazy about her, sometimes as women we are so used to being criticized and our lives being scrutinized and nip picked that it just creates insecurities on us. She is an older black woman in Hollywood, this scrutiny and criticism probably increases 10X so I understand her

And the fact that her husband stayed waaaay out of that embarassing silence speaks volumes...
