i am so glad that this group is still together. I found out about Eclipse about 6 years ago from my brother. he brought home the cd For Show and i was hooked on this amazing group. I originally thought that that was the first CD, but after finding the official site for this band like 20 mins ago, i found out i was wrong. That was the best time i have ever been wrong.

Guys, i have to tell you something. You know, i'm used to listen Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Bee Gees, Beatles, Jason Mraz, Robbie Williams, Keane and all this famous singers and bands ( with a good melody) all my life, and what you guys did here it's so AMAZING!! It's sooo good to listen the melody and the right tunes put into right places. You guys did a Sensational JOB! THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

Jason Mraz is fabulous and that can't be taken away from him. But the awesomeness of these very talented men, together as a group, brings it to it the harmony it deserves, and which empowers the song to be song a Capella even more so.Seldom do you hear a cover that is as good if not better than the original, so hats off to Eclipse for doing their own rendition & having it come out so well to gain such popularity as a cover song. Love you guys. Your vocals are wonderful!

One thing I find is lacking in many covers, even by really good or "famous" groups is the emotion of the song, the feeling within that really hits you right in the feels. But this cover, just captures it and brings it out even more than the original (in my opinion), to the point my wife gets teary listening to it every single time. Really love this cover.

Great question! All of the above. :) Patrick doesn't sing with us anymore but he's still part of the group. He plays a major role in recording, arranging and producing the music and videos of Eclipse. We even snag him to run sound at live gigs when he's not busy producing music for T.V. in LA.

Having been in an acapella group and recorded in the studio as well - I have more appreciation for less effects rather than more. I appreciate the more vocals actually sound like vocals rather than the instruments they are trying to imitate. I understand that that is the major appeal to gather an audience (sounding as close as possible to the instrument) - but I dunno, it doesn't let me in on the actual majesty of the sound of pure vocals (with maybe a touch of reverb to take the edge off).

I absolutely love you guys' work! I graduated from college with my B.A. in Music and focused on voice and YOU GUYS were the example we used for our men's choir. From "we three kings" to "lullaby" to now this...I have never heard a group of guys like you all. Keep up the great singing!!!
