If you believe that "I vomit when I listen to this music" is in any way an ironic metaphor, it's you who needs to get back to school. Also, here's a helpful tip, if you vomit when you hear him, or just don't like his music, here's an idea: DON'T click on videos that are clearly labelled "Jason Mraz", and keep your insightful comments to yourself!
Omg it's true, I am in love with this man! His voice, his guitar, his lyrics, his passion! No words.. speechless... just love. I love you Jason!!! Xoxoxo
Go on and drain the veins in my head Clean out the reds in my eyes to get by those security lines Dear x-ray machine Pretend that you don't know me so well And I won't tell if you lied Cry, cause the droughts been brought up Drinkin' cause you're lookin' so good in your Starbucks cup I complain for the company that I keeping The windows made for sleeping rearrange And I'm nobody who's laughin' now That I'm leaving your town again And I'm over the ground that you've been spinning And I'm up in the air so baby hell yeah Well Honey, I can see your house from here If the plane goes down, damn I'll remember where the love was found If the plane goes down, damn Damn, I should be so lucky Even only 24 hours under your touch You know I need you so much I cannot wait to call you And tell you that I landed somewhere And hand you a square of the airport And walk you through the maze of the map That I'm gazing at Gracefully unnamed and feeling guilty for the luck And the look that you gave me You make me somebody Ain't nobody knows me Not even me can see it, yet I bet I'm I'm leaving your town again And I'm over the quilt that you've been spinning And I'm up in the air, so baby hell yeah Oh honey I can see your house from here If the plane goes down, damn I'll remember where the love was found If the plane goes down, damn you Flax seeds, yeah they tear me open And supposedly you can crawl right through me Taste these teeth please And undress me from these sweaters better hurry Cause I'm keeping upward bound now I'll build my house on your cloud Here I'm tumbling for you Stumbling through the work that I have to do Don't mean to harm you By leaving your town again But I'm over the guilt that you've been giving But I'm up in the air, said baby hell yeah Oh honey I can see your house from here And If the plane goes down, damn I'll remember where the love was found If the plane goes down, damn I'll remember where the love was found If the plane goes down, damn Well I'll remember where the love was found If the plane goes down, damn you
i love the part in the song itself where he goes high pitch at the end when he sings 'high, high minded' etc... but i try and find the live one so i can really hear it... but he doesnt do it =.="
One of the things that I really idolize Jason Mraz for is his falsetto. Also, the smoothness at which he is able to slide into his falsetto. A lot of vocalists have a very whispy falsetto, including myself, but his is spectacularly clear and crisp.
Fantastic rendition! Top 5 no doubt. In terms of live performers, very few are as pure or better in person. Regardless, I love the man's music, ability to perform live, and MOVE YOU as a performer. Puts Jason in an Elite category. Yet he's relatively underrated-ly unknown... and that's OK!
I don't mind those 8 people who disliked this song... there's 8 x 100 and MORE of us who like jason... WE make the difference here ;) thumbs up if you ADORE Mr. Jason Mraz.
@oricalifornia exactly thats why a lot of his studio recorded stuff are no where close as good as him live theres always to much it sounds better just plain acoustic
just drag your index finger down the chord starting with the bass note first. he also may do a small palm mute to kinda mute the strings...tough to tell because he is using a taylor nylon series guitar which is sweet because not a lot of artists use them. they are usally used for a finger pickin style but he is just using flat out for his guitar...pure awesomeness
jason, thre is a secret alliance between un and those that lisen. I feel you from the inside out like you are my bother--such a closeness that no others recognize. Loving you in that way always. Your sister, Brandy
Hey, cut the guy a slack. He doesn't mean Mraz is bad or anything. He just wanted to tell the world that he still likes this song by Mraz, although the rest of his music ain't his style anymore.
I love how passionate he is.. you can tell he sings with so much by the ending to this song. when it is over and his eyes open it is like he is coming back to reality it is amazing to see an artist with so much talent who actually enjoys playing on stage..
@etfedorca Whole song based off these chords: Ebm F B Bb7 Chord positions: relative to capo 2 barre 4th fret C#m, E chord , barre 5th fret A chord, barre 4th fret Ab7

Just a note to all you youngsters, I'm 53y.o. and think Jason Mraz is INCREDIBLE! 'Plane' is the first song I ever heard I now I'm HOOKED. His new web page is fantastic too.
