Gianluca Armeli every skate video should be a piece of art but unfortunatly it seems like to many people are forgeting that and are just on a copy-pase midset.
I truly wish I could like this video more than once. It reminded me that skateboarding is not about impressing people, but feeling the the freedom of an artist with a brush or a bird in the sky. thank you Jason Park and Brett Novak.
really, really like the way this was filmed. it wasn't just entirely skating, but there was scenery and bits and pieces of human nature as well. although there are several people who can't stand the amount of artsy-ness there is here, i believe that having the aspect of art in something is what makes it stand out and not boring. the skating was AMAZING, i have no other words to express how good and talented Jason is!
What a beautiful video, it makes me emotional. I'm getting my first skateboard 🛹 at 49 years of age this month. Jason is a cool person. So his friends. Subscribed on them channels. Tyou for uploading this. Although I see it 7 years later. Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 💕 🇺🇸
I swear if I ever get a skate video I'd literally try to hire Brett, he just provides the magic to every video I never knew could be achieved through skateboarding.
Jason Park is my favorite skateboarder and also Tony Hawk, Mike Vallely and Robney Mullen but Jason Park is something special and everytime i watch a video with Jason Park i cry.
Just beautiful. The filming and the skating. Not normally a big fan of this vibe of music (I like Jason's own taste in 80's synth pop more) but the sentimentality works because it's such an ode to Oahu. Just perfect really
Man Brett I give you so much props. There is so much that goes into play emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. I love your view on art man. Keep it up!
Daewon Song, Jerry Hsu, Christian Hosoi, Jeff Pang, Daniel Shimizu, Willy Santos, Tony Nguyen, Danny Supa, Don Nguyen, Gou Miyagi, Jimmay Cao, Lem Villemin, and those are just some higher-profile ones. Even Koston and Malto are part Asian.
This honestly deserves an award, it's the best skate video i've ever seen. It fills me with inspiration, hope, and nowadays, a sense of nostalgia. Watching it now it's equally as good as the first time I watched it with my skate friend yet somehow so much better. Much love Jason and Brett for giving us all this gift 🖤 This video is forever my home.
I didn't know why was it so touching for a long time.. now I know Everyone seeks their place, their true meaning in life.. and here we can see a man and the thing that makes him precious, his skateboard.
The decision to incorporate nature and all its imperfections complements Jason's style in a harmonious way. Him skating on a partially broken board plays into that theme as well.
+ohh Gust It's the belt I paused it and looked and you can see it go through the belt loop then keep going. Good eye though! Would've been funny if it was a thong.
I guess I'm watching this video literally the 50th time! It's just so fascinating that you managed to focus your videos on the "magical" part of skateboarding.. the traveling, the people, the "I can skate whatever I want", the everyting.. Your videos show, that skateboarding is not just about grinding big rails (which, to be honest, isn't bad either), hurting yourself, being rude, consuming drugs,.. but about passion, friends and fun. I love this!
that's not a bad question and doesn't have to be meant in a racist way, maybe he's just curious. Answer: you don't need to open your eyes fully to see perfectly either. also he's probably a bit blinded by the sun there.
dante radomski I never said he wasn't talented, infact this is probably thee best skate part ive ever seen. I am just amazed he pulls what he does off with what seems to me, closed eyes. Settle down there nancy boy
gad damn it, come to watch skating and i end up seen shots of a blue sky and the back of jason parks head as he walks into the distance, were is he going, hes going home..... artsy skate movies are really overdone at this point
Alot of scenery and jason park walking around in beautiful places isn't what I want to see in a skate video but if thats what he wants to do alright then but Its not my thing.... I give very few fucks for art in skate videos
This is honestly one of my favorite videos ever. The editing and filming was amazing, the song was beautiful and the skating was phenomenal! So sick u deserve way more subscribers
