This one and Richardson's dunk an year before ('03) with the throw, catch, and REVERSE behind the legs. Richardson is soo underrated. People only talk about Vince, but Richardson had crazier dunks.
VC and J-Rich are by far the best dunkers of my generation. There's an effortlessness about their styles you can just see that they have all the talent in the world and no one else can really compare.
What truly makes this dunk impressive is that Richardson is a two-foot leaper. Most people jump off one foot, but going off the backboard, jumping off two feet, and then going between your legs is just ridiculous.
watching derrick williams fail miserably trying to perform this dunk just makes you realize how amazing it is. And on his first try no less! JRich was (and, to a lesser extent, still is) an amazing dunker.
The reverse 360 Windmill is and always will be the goldbar for all the dunks in dunk contests, Vince could easliy of done any of these dunks in his sleep, he has done alot of these dunks just messin around in games...if you doubt any of this...go ahead and type in the 2000 olympic dunk, and that ends any debate on this subject.
@CreativeSensation Most underrated dunker is HANDS DOWN Desmond Mason. He did a two foot dunk from the free throw line and his dunks looked better than almost any other dunks.
Jason Richardson was robbed that year. That was one of the craziest sickest dunks EVER. look it up on youtube, i cant really find anyone else who can do it.
best NBA dunk ever to b exact lol, air up there be doin that in his sleep lols youtube him, if he was in the NBA dunk contest he wod win every year he enters lol
Best dunk in a NBA slam dunk contest, no doubt about it, but the best dunker ever is VC and the best dunk ever belongs to him when he jumped over that french "little" fella.
J-Rich ONLY lost cause of fuck up rules back then! This was his LAST Dunk in the FIRST Round. And he missed a Ball toss 360 between the legs (replaced it) only 1 replace in finals back here. and missed again (real close throuhg) and his last dunk was a ball toss 360 elbow hang(The honey dip) allso missed. no replacement.. lost to Fred Jones with the scores of 86-76.2004 was SICK First round... Whackest final round ever maybe (of cause Nate missing 14 times and Blake robbing people is alot worse)
