I was there with exact same view so thank you so much. Jason completely blew my mind. I can actually see myself in your video. I'm the bald guy with the the black metallica t-shirt.
The man is an absolute beast on guitar! His unique combination of brutally heavy riffs, incredibly interesting rhythmic passages, insane shredding, and tasteful melodies place his purely instrumental music in a class of its own. I've listened to my fair share of instrumental artists (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie, and many more), but very few can keep my interest the way Jason does.
@@yokisullivan8647 the ending of upside down just lifts the song into the stratosphere right at the end in the best way. ishimura also deserves props for its heartbreaking melody, and byronius of the fourth orders breakdown literally sounds like entering some kind of angelic/demonic pantheon. he writes economically, and plays dramatically.
I still love born of osiris but man i miss this dude when he played for them....got to see him live 3 times with them and once with all that remains....went to see veil of maya once and heard jason was gonna be a surprise guest but i guess he was sick and had to skip a few dates
