This video brought back great memories of my childhood and early youth and reaffirmed what a wonderful band Chicago was and how excellent Peter Cetera was at his job. This gentleman is very talented in stepping into those shoes on a daily basis.

Great brass section, for sure, but after III, I lost interest. They just became so commercial, and Cetera's vocal affectations made my skin crawl.

I have one of those models, and while I generally advise people not to by artist signature models, any bass player would want to have this bass in his or her collection, even if just to experiment at home.

Jason, I am Mike from Alexandria, I was talking to your mother on the phone when you pulled up in your vehicle and I looked up a lot of information for her and gave her Norman’s phone number and website and some other leads and told her to call Norman about selling your Dad’s bass, etc. What a small world. I called back once and no one answered and then I lost the number. I was interested in the reel to reel if ya’ll still have it. Thanks. This was several months back and here you are sitting on the couch playing and singing. This is so cool.

Quite honestly Jason's voice is so identical to Peter's I can't tell the two apart! I bet if we put the two of them on stage together and had them sing together it would sound just like Peter being "double tracked"!

I know that the price of that bass does justice to the value and importance that Jaco Pastorius has in the world of electric bass. However, in some ways it is a little frustrating that the price of it is not within everyone's reach. Every Jaco fan deserves to have this instrument. I hope one day its price will be somewhat more affordable, at least for me.
