Byron Scott's quote at the end is perfect! My dad took me to most of the home games shown in these clips, and I'll never forget the excitement before every game! It was amazing! Doesn't what we see in these clips look like today's Warriors teams???? Amazing how my Kings from my adolescence were so ahead of their time! This team against this Warriors team would have been an amazing matchup!
this sacramento kings drains the other team's will to win with their great passing plays, they put on a show in your own home floor and gets your own crowd excited, if you are in the other team its like you just want the game to end and get out of this embarrassing night in front of your home crowd.
Flash in the pan but what a treat. I'd put my money on the 2001 Sac Town kings over the Golden state Warriors of today. Most definitely it was a better time to be a fan of the game. I'm so fucking sick of hearing about LeBron James. It's like your watching Lakers v clips right? and then that fat guy who loves him some LBJ. You know who I'm talking about, you know! Some how someone manages to bring him up. Physically he's the greatest athlete to grace a basketball court ever. But is he the greatest competitor ever? HA! Don't make me laugh he's not even close FACT. Just watch he play if you can't see the excuses he gives myself everytime the going gets tough. His body language says it all. Then I feel sorry ya dawgs because you must suck at life.
The 2003 Sacramento Kings were better than the 2001 and 2002 squads because they were much deeper until Chris Webber tore his lateral meniscus in his knee. That being said, the 2017 Golden State Warriors will beat the 2003 Sacramento Kings in six if there was a series between those two.
The Kings choked away their chances in 2002. 2003 was arguably a better chance with a much deeper team until Chris Webber tore his lateral meniscus in his knee in Game 2 of their Round 2 series against the Mavs and it went all downhill from there.
