Jaundice is a condition where the skin and eyes take on a yellowish color due to increased levels of bilirubin in the bloodstream. Bilirubin can be either unconjugated or conjugated; unconjugated bilirubin is produced by macrophages and conjugated bilirubin is stored in the gallbladder. Jaundice can be caused by both types of bilirubin getting into the blood. This video covers common diseases that lead to increased serum levels of conjugated bilirubin, unconjugated bilirubin, or both.

amazing video , few things to add the heme that was broken breaks too biliverdin first by heme oxygenase and then bilirubin by biliverdin reductase so then this bilirubin is taken into liver by binding of albumin (facilated diffusion) because like you said its insouluble so then bilirubin is joined with glucoronic acid forming bilirubin glucosiduronate which is then moved to bile by ABC TRANSPORTER( atp binding casscade) then intestine deconjugated by bacteria forming urobilinogen and then what u said basically about it oxidised to form urobilin which gives poop the its color lol thank u so much.

This video is AMAZING!! Not only did you make the material easy to understand, but you also made it fun to look at with your cute smiley faces and expressions. The only question I have is in regards to cases of elevated unconjugated bilirubin. If there is elevated amounts, can there still be absent urine bilirubin?? I understand that the liver is doing its best to convert the excess UCB to CB thus eventually resulting in "dark colored urine," but is this only if there is too much UCB? I hope that makes sense.

Avoid Taking heavy foods Avoid junk, oil ,fatty, masala foods Avoid doing excercise until u cured Avoid sunlight Avoid taking stress Avoid taking mental pressure Be happy, Be comfort Eat less light food multiple times, So there will no pressure on your liver. Drink 1. Butter milk. 2. Cocunut water 3. Fruit juices 4. Water Eat light food ( quick digestive foods ) like 1. Curd rice 2. Idli 3. Fruits etc. Some people say avoid to sleep right side Better to sleep on left side for good liver Consult good gastro entologist.. Do proper tests. Remember jaundice is not a disease It is a symptom like 1. High bp , high sugar So . Take proper medication so you will be Recovered quickly.

One of my friend has jaundice last month and taken allopathy treatment for the same but her jaundice keep on increasing day by day with loss of appetite . Then she switch to ayurvedic treatment and see the positive effect of medication , now she is fine with a very low level of bilirubin left.
